I find it hard to recommend VR titles, as I have found it to be a very personal choice, although Res 7 would be high on the list for anyone with the balls to play it.

I have commented on this a number of times, and don't want to keep repeating myself, but games like Superhot and Wipeout although not a graphically impressive as Res 7, are certainly worth checking out.

If you want impressive graphics, check out Farpoint or Skyrim, there is an ever growing list on the Playstation store, the star rating system does seem to give a reasonable rating of a game.

So basically it's down to what you enjoy, if you look back at previous VR articles you will find all sorts of recommendations I have made.

But I'm sure you are going to enjoy what VR has to offer.

Glad amiga has answered-he’s to go to guy for gaming questions.

Wipeout omega is Definately worth it, cheap too,. Turn off all safety settings and go for it, it’s great! A bit one dimensional (being a racing game) but in vr it works superbly and feels pretty mad at times.

If you want to scare the crap out if yourself, res 7, or the persistence which is immersive as hell and is a bit like a cross between rogue and dead space.

Still to get super hot vr, I think you need the move controllers for that.

Yes Baz you need the move controllers for Superhot. you really should get some for the full VR experience, they can make a huge difference.

I intend to.

In Skyrim..,did you find combat too hard? Heard reports it doesn’t work well?

To be honest Baz I haven't played much of Skyrim, I just don't have the time to put into it, and my gaming days are coming to an end.

Funnily enough I did think about giving it a go today, but I doubt I will ever finish it.

Andromeda, I did a review of Farpoint, you should check it out. Farpoint can be played with a normal controller, but there is an aim controller made for the game. It works really well, and really enhances the experience.

It can also be used in a few other games, including Firewall Zero hour, (a multiplayer shooter) got great reviews. It will be my next VR game (money tied up at the moment.

Its a 3rd person game however and wouldn't work as well as a VR title. Resi 7 only came out in VR because the game was developed in 1st person it was never originally planned to be done in VR.

So it is possible that further down the line they will develop a VR version of Resi 2 but i doubt it, 3rd person just isnt immersive in the way 1st person is in VR.

VR doesnt always improve games.

VR doesnt always improve games.

I agree with this. simply porting over a game, with no thought of how to control or interact in the world, would be a disaster for most games.

VR has it's own challenges and games must overcome them to deliver an immersive and enjoyable experience.
