I think you are right in that the reaction has been a bit over the top. However, I think most Liverpool fans are concerned by the performances rather than the results. We have been quite lucky in the last two matches to draw both. Leicester and West Ham has enough chances to bury us. Anyway, hoping that restart of the Champions League will reignite our season. The performances lately are a symbol of us not being in top form, injuries and the misguided break in Dubai are probably the main reasons

I think the break worked last year. I could be wrong.
I hope the impact of the break will show in March and April when the rest the players have had will give us an advantage over city who have been full tilt for a while now
The reaction is crazy. No reaction when City lost 4 times this season. How can it be a bottle job when we are in front??
I am happy as Larry with the position we are in. We have had key injuries this month hence the poor results.
T Bone - I think the problem comes from the reaction of the media as well as commentators. Just had a look at at the Daily Mail website (I am not a fan of the DM by the way) and the large majority of comments from football fans are utterly negative about Liverpool. There seem to be an absolute hatred of the club which I have never seen before. All of this in turn psychologically affects the Pool fans who tend to believe the negativity.
I do agree that the trip to Dubai, although detrimental now may prove invaluable in April/May
I'm pretty confident that the worse is behind us now...injuries will be clearing up and we will be back on track.
Get TAA, Gini and AOC back into the squad, things will look a lot brighter.
The reaction hasn’t been over the top in my opinion.
When you’ve gone nearly 30 years without a title then you simply have to seize the opportunities when they present themselves.
This is a club that has, in the last 7 years, lost 4 out of 4 cup finals and barring a miraculous change in fortunes and form will have blown another golden opportunity to land the title.
I thought the maturity we were showing all season could’ve been a sign that we were mentally tougher to cope at times of adversity but we’ve looked hopeless since the turn of the year.
You’d have to be a brave man to back us over this rampant City side who look hungrier than we do.
The reaction of the last 24 hours is wholly justified because the team hasn’t shown the fight required to maintain their 7-5 point lead at the top.
We now, in all likelihood go into Saturdays game in 2nd spot and I wouldn’t be surprised if Bournemouth got a result such is our fragility.
City are not rampant. They have stuttered more than we have. There will be twists and turns until the end.
Since city beat us they have made up just 1 point on us. That's across 4 games. Even if we carry on that form then we would be going into the last game of the season on equal points. Hardly a bottle job is it?
We are going through a poor run of form. Fabinho and Keita are both taking time to make an impression on the PL, especially Keita.
Having said that we are not losing games when playing badly and that’s very encouraging because we are bound to hit another sweet spot before the season ends.
We usually stumble around Jan & Feb...seems to be a trend with Klopp. No idea why though. But we usually pick it up around the end of Feb or March and we're back to being our best.
Liverpool fans should stay buckled for at least another 3 weeks.
Part of this pressure thing was built up by the media and ex players imo. O mean they started talking about it in January Ffs. If it was end of March/April fair enough. There are still 1/3 of season left!
Interesting that the whole narrative has now changed from the media and ex players. According to them now, City is hitting top form and apparently we are crumbling despite the fact that we have only dropped one more point than City since playing them. Anyway, hope that this eases the pressure on us a bit for now.

doom and gloom is cos LFC fans know in thier hearts the title is lost but have to still cling to some hope city will mess up more.
