It will be a striker. Defender or midfielder have no chance of winning it.

It will be strange if Spurs win the title.

Well we've come much closer than Liverpool have in the last decade.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No you havent
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh yes Slippery G, how could I forget about that!

The last 5 years then.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Even that's wrong

Some of the recent winners have included, Kyle Walker, Cesc Fabregas, Jack Wilshere, James Milner, Scott Parker and Jermaine Jenas
Many would class Dele Alli as a midfielder as well...

Won't be strange, it would be a miracle. Should be players 21 and younger though.

I have to agree with the above.

Its utterly stupid that stelring is still in this award

As was it stupid that when he was young he had hazard and kane in his category.

IT should be MAX 22. MAX

For me:

taa
Rice
maddison
rashord

no order there.

All done good.

Leroy Sane isn't English and he is currently the holder

Recent, last 15 - 20 years.

VVD the most overrated player in PL history?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Certainly getting there isn’t he?liverpool already conceded as many as Chelsea did in 04/05 when JT won it. And that was playing with Paulo Ferreira!

Declan rice would be my pick. Sterling obviously qualifies so should get it for his output alone, but he does play for city and...well he’s got good stats. Let’s leave it at that

Rice ahead of Rashford....seriously??

Declan Rice needs to leave West Ham asap. Sign for someone like Wolves or Watford

In many industry's people are considered a young person until they turn 25, so it's not really that left field 24 yo's being considered.

In many industries people work until they are late 60s.
In football a senior career lasts from 17 to 33. 24 is middle aged!

I only watch Tottenham games mate. I’d have no life if I watched every single televised game of football

This it is!

Thing is with players like Rive is that yo appreciate his game (which is very good from the little I've seen) you have to watch the full match. It's not like impact players with goals, etc, so I'm always a bit suspicious of people putting forward choices like Rice.

If he hadn't had a protracted contract negotiation, in which some very big clubs were widely reported to be interested, I doubt he'd be mentioned in this context.

Ryan Fraser should get a shout btw.
