My biggest problem with Sarri is how he uses Kante. I can''t understand why you'd misuse one of the best players in the world. Why would you not adapt your system to accommodate Kante instead of making Kante adapt to your system? So stupid.

Stranger things have happened. He must be a bit frustrated. Why would you play probably the best specialist DM there is, a back to back PL and world cup winner, out of position? Is just stupid.

Kante isn’t a specialist dm, though. His role is just demanding more from him in a creative/attacking sense, which he doesn’t quite have the attributes for. That said, he does appear to have improved a lot of his flaws in this regard compared to his time at Leicester. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get even better next season in this regard at Chelsea given he’s such a driven player. Chelsea’s lack of playmaker/attacking midfielder is putting more emphasis on him to do more as well. Kovacic and Barkley aren’t very good. Kante still tackles and intercepts like always but is winning it higher up the pitch where he’s having less options, and in an unfamiliar area of the pitch, to play the ball off.
I think this has been Kantes best season in the pl.thats just my opinion but he has been fantastic
I don't really know Sarri's philosophy too well but I still don't understand why he can't play both Jorginho and Kante in their best roles? I got the impression Jorginho is a bit of a regista and creates from deep, a bit like what Pirlo was like. And that requires a defensive midfielder beside them to do the dirty work which is exactly what Kante does. Unless I'm wrong in what Jorginho is like as a player?

True, I have actually been impressed at how well Kante is operating further forward and creating/scoring.
Kante would certainly step our midfield up, just look at how he improves pogba when playing for France.
