I fancy us vs Utd, they will come at us which will leave us space to exploit. The defence is a bit gash as well so the front 3 could have fun.
Looking forward to the United game, but anything could happen and it's going to be very tense. Yes we should get some chances due to their defence but we will need to be clinical as their attack is looking good also. If we are as wasteful as we were yesterday, it could cost us.
Yes if we were to win then that would be a big boost as along with spurs then it’s our hardest match left .
Both sides will create chances, it will depend on who takes them. 2 - 2 anybody?
At least we have something to fight for now other than the obvious rivalry stuff, keeping that top 4 spot
If ball ache was still in charge I reckon the result would have little consequence on our season
Utd must be odds on for top 4 , to be fair to ole he has them playing well .
If there is a time to beat utd it's now....beat them make 6/6 and then we can say beating utd was the difference in winning the title....
We are a better team and better defensively....Let's go and prove it.
We don’t NEED to win this game. It’s a potential banana skin and I’d be happy provided we go unbeaten

It’s crazy isn’t it? 7 weeks ago Jose said that you would need a miracle in order to make top four by the end of the season, 7 weeks of Ole and you’re back in there out right.
And there was a couple of your fans that wanted to give him till the end of the season.

And the absolute worst part of that scenario would have been the players we would have likely lost
I don’t think City will drop any points in their remaining 11 fixtures. But assuming they do, let’s assume it’s a draw. This would mean City finishing on 96 points and a huge GD.
Which means Liverpool have to probably win 32 points out of 36 to claim the title. That would be 10 wins and 2 draws, or 11 wins. A HUGE ask but not beyond us.
Such fine margins when you consider the circumstances. I get the horrible feeling that we will look back on those 2 draws with dread.
But then, football is a funny old game. Maybe City will lose 2 on the bounce again.

Better team? Last season you finished below us and lost 4 PTS to us. This season we've been killed by Jose. Since Ole came in we've won more PTS than the entire league.
You are definitely better than us this season pre Solskjaer. Whether you are post Solskjaer remains to be seen.
didnt think everton were soft. played much better against us than recent weeks.

Ah come on. We have been getting numbers that you barely managed under Ferguson. You've played hardly anyone of note and new manager bounce can be significant in results. Despite out recent draws I think it is a very safe thing to say that we are better than you.
Whether that remains the same next season is another matter of course.
The utd game is actually bigger than utd vs lfc for us, need to treat it a's a game to win and ignore the game hype.
Keep a clean sheet and I think we win.
utd are amazing but still irrelevant that must hurt.
From a football perspective it might actually be a good game for once.
God knows these games have been really really poor in recent times.

Our new legion of Algerian fans (who make the spurs fans on this site seem sane) think about him enough for the rest of us anyway. So I will excuse myself.
city MADE sides look soft.
The reality is city have a lot of games coming but You wouldn't put them on less than 95 points right now surely.
that means LFC need 31 points from 12 games.
LFC fans need to tkae off the red tinted glasses here and see the utd game for what it is. Its a mega iceberg we are steaming straight for.
I've lookat at us v utd over past years and one this is for sure. we are rubbish at old trafford and have been done by utd pace every time. The pitch is bigger than ours, we just don't perform that well and we should not be expecting a win.
So thats the game that we are going to struggle on.. ok now we need to beat everton away and spurs at home... right not impossible... AND PLAY CL?
and then beat all the rest as well.
Its a huge ask. Take it one game at a time and see where we get to but don't be shocked if city come out with 3 domestic trophies this year.
City were always favourites. I think most of the sensible ones on here always alluded to that.
We're just happy to be in the mix with one of the best PL sides ever.
