Spurs are the real success side of the Prem this season. No home ground, nothing spent, horrendous injuries, yet just a few points off the top.

Not getting the credit they deserve, with all the fawning over City and Liverpool.

How can you be the success side when you are 3rd?

Liverpool and City heading for almost record breaking numbers and you are claiming people should fawn over you?

Don't get me wrong, you have done well but people are correctly looking at us two. In the same way that it won't surprise me if come the end of the season we are all saying "Liverpool did well but look how superb city are."

Hey Sandy remember we had a brief chat about VAR the other day and I expressed my reservations about it well the Son incident showed up exactly what I'm worried about. The Sky pundits thought it was a nailed on pen and the MOTD boys were sure it was a dive. I can see VAR causing as many problems as it solves.

You could get yourselves right into the title race with your games against the top2, your run recently has been impressive.

Nobody is asking anyone to "fawn" over Spurs. It is about basic recognition. Spurs supporters have to put up with every paper, Sky, BBC etc leading with stories/reports about Pool and City and what they see as a two horse race. Whilst they may well finish 1st and 2nd, it reads like the 3rd team is irrelevant. Whilst there is the odd very reluctant acknowledgement that Spurs are a few points behind, it is always quickly dismissed. In fact ManU get more media space, even when they were down in 6th.

I certainly will not be praising City, one would expect nothing less from a “Club/Country” that has spent over half a billion £’s on the team

Yes but the media are having to lick their wounds where Spurs are concerned. With no additions in the last 2 transfer windows and the stadium situation they think we should be in the relegation zone. We are making them look stupid and as a result they resent having to praise us.

Why are Spurs fans so desperate for attention from the media?

Your team aren't as good as the two leaders, hence you're 5 points behind each.

It was an absolutely nailed on penalty, had that been Salah, they MOTD boys would have said it was a 100 per cent contact. Spurs should have had about another half a dozen pens this season.

Yet, can you imagine the reaction from your lot if the media constantly talked up City and ignored or dismissed Pool as a team doing ok, but just making up the numbers? My guess is we would never hear the end of it on this site.

Massive inferiority complex going on here.

Spurs have been talked up in how well they’ve done this season, despite not spending in either transfer window. They’ve also been mentioned as being in the title race.

yeh, I think Pochettino has done very well with what he has available, not the best squad by a long way

Great season again for spurs. Cup semi, CL knockouts, top 4 all but secured.
For a club like Spurs this is as good as could be expected so Poch deserves all the credit for maintaining the status quo of winning no trophies. Credit where it's due
