One thing we need to prepare for is Bayern gamesmanship. They will be hounding the ref and winning at all costs. We lost our head when PSG did this to us earlier and can’t afford to play the nice guy.

Doesn't matter who we pick.

Bayern are a proper Champions League club and will do us over. Lots of players in that team who are used to winning things.

We pretty much face that every week.
Home or away.

If we concede 2 away goals it'd be a disaster.

Its very simple, we need to win home game but we can't gift them goals.

I fully agree with T Bone and Kash with regards to Fabinho and Gini; each is a bolt-on certainty. Saturday was Naby's best performance so far, he is used to playing against BM.

The result? Hard call, anyway if I were to call I'd get it wrong. Again. My mind wanders and I wonder how each of us, us and City, come through the next round of CL football. Clearly that must be their No.1 target, nothing less will do, but the amount of talent they have, even on the bench - Sane, Mahrez, Jesus, Silva et al is frightening.

Doesn’t look like Lovren is going to make this which means Fabinho will probably partner Matip.

Fortunately, Trent is back so the balance won’t be too far out.

There’s no doubt that we’re significantly weaker without Virgil which is why our attackers must be on song.

Can anything other than the last 2 weeks show the folly of letting Clyne go? Klopp error.

Baffling. It was only on loan too wasn't it? Didn't benefit the club in any way.
