Far too much, That is about £14k a week.
I know the money in english football has gone silly but no championship player is worth that.

£400k a week for Ramsey is insane. It's one thing when players like Messi and Ronaldo are on that sort of money. But for a good but not world class player like Ramsey it is about 3x too much.

pretty sure this includes the signing fee split across the length of his contract... making it more understandable.

That figure sounds nonsense to me. Who else in the market was willing to pay any more than £150k p/w to him? Juve aren't exactly United or Barca levels of income. Can't believe he would be on any more than £200k p/w.

He’s a 1 in 5 type player according to most Arsenal fans I believe - they might correct me if I am wrong. I think they have really suffered in giving Ozil that contract because experienced and long serving players like Ramsey will rightfully demand similar.
Emery doesn’t seem to want Ozil anywhere near the starting 11 either which is worrying for them.

Arsenal fans will know the details of this but my understanding is that it was his and others excessive wages that led to the transfer in the first place.

This is the only explanation imo. As whilst lots of Arsenal fans don't rate Ramsey - their opinion should be ignored because they're clueless fickle mugs.

To most onlookers, Ramsey is better than 90 percent of the dross they have in their squad.
