I've only seen Mbappe about 4 times and each time he was absolutely devastating
Based on those games alone I'd say Rashy has some catching up to do but this season he seems to have picked up the baton again

Interesting to see how Rashford fares against Thiago Silva who is a very clever and experienced CB.

Rashford can be very good but I dont think there is a comparison with Mbappe personally. The latter is incredible, a generational talent

He’s come along a long way. Imo learnt a lot from Jose and has become a top player

I do think there’s a lot of similarities in their style of play, though of course Mbappe is on another level

Mbappe has 25 goals and 10 assists already this season. Amazing achievements. He is on a different level.

Marcus’s 9 goals and 6 assists is impressing - considering the PL difficulty level in comparison to the French, not to mention Mourinho's approach that slowed down Rashford's goals and assists in comparison to OGS young reign

I agree he's not as good as Mbappe but to say he's just a poacher shows you know nothing about football.

He's a lot more than that. If you can't see his intelligent runs then football is not for you. Shearer talks about his running off the ball and runs in behind and says he's one of the best at it he's seen.

Mbappe is just a phenomenal talent. No shame being inferior to him.

Its bizarre you have it all worked out like that.

Here’s the reality

2016 - I feel he has incredible potential but not sure on his all round ability - hence poacher comment

2017 - I see him play wide and he seems to be good at that as well as finishing and am more than happy for him to play wide and be there while Lukaku is up top.

2019 - He’s back playing central - of which I have no issue with - and though I’m not saying it’s all down to Jose - I feel that playing wide as much as he has has helped make him a player with a lot more to his game.

But don’t let your weird agenda against me cloud your thinking - heaven forbid!

Rashford is a great talent and, one of the best youngsters at the moment. Really pleased with his progression under the coaching staff and Ole's guidance.

But as much as i rate him, this other kid Mbappe is on another level. He is the one that i fear the most tomorrow night. He is so dangerous and almost unpredictable at times. Such a difficult youngster to mark out of the game in today's modern game. Our defence is going to have to be on 110% focus to keep him quiet.

I’ve not seen a young player with his intelligence and composure in a forward since Ronaldo Naz. And he was arguably the best teenager to ever play football. That’s the company Mbappe is in at his age right now.

Save your anger for the douchebags - of which there were many - who called him Gashford

Not that it makes Rash a better player but I doubt many would be surprised if Rash scored a couple of great goals tomorrow and Mbappe did nothing.

Mbappe is going the right way to being a future Ballon d'or winner. Once the two freaks retire, then Mbappe (if he continues this form and then some) and whoever is his rival will be the next Ron and Messi Ballon d'or hoggers.

I don’t think we’ll see anthing like that. It will likely return to normality where it flicks between a few different players as new top talents come onto the scene.
