17, probably a long way from home, drunk and holding class A drugs.

I’ve lived a sheltered life.

Sorry, at risk of sounding like my grand-dad, drunk and disorderly, in possession of drugs, involved in violent disorder, they deserve their collars felt, no sympathy. Being from Leeds is irrelevant.

7 out of 9 men are either in their teens or 20's...probably no jobs or don't bothered about ruining their careers. It's a broken Britain under Tories.

It's been Broken beyond repair by every Government we've had in the last 40 years, laughable to blame just the Tories and I don't actually think any Government makes a blind bit of difference to some lads causing some bother after a load of beer & coke. We've been doing it since the start of time.

What makes you think they don't have jobs?

Why does it make any difference?

Did you see the smashed up seats in the Leeds section too?

"In light of the events of Saturday, further discussion will take place with the club about future decisions on ticket allocation..."

Why bother - if things continue to go to plan we'll not be playing at their ground next season!

If you go out looking for trouble at a game of football, you’re an idiot.

Indeed - it's about time fans started seeing other fans as rivals with the same love of the game rather than enemies.

There was trouble when Sheff United visited the Riverside, and other instances. All it means is, there is still an element of idiots that go to football matches, and that trouble at football grounds has not been eradicated....But we knew that anyway, idiots always find an outlet.

Spot on, although unemployment has nothing to do with the above offences. People can quite easily work during the week and then go out to cause trouble at weekends.

Exacty, no reason basis or excuse for stupidity.

These people are idiots that do this for no reason

Could 2 or 3 of those arrested be Boro fans?

Is it possible that Boro fans are given a stern talking to as they are locals, while Leeds fans are locked up for similar offenses.

Given our last 15 years, hard to blame them really!

I don’t get it.
I remember been in one of the supporter clubs back in the 90s. Couple of lads were stoned on the back seat and the rest were too busy drinking that the several pee stops made us late for kick off. Leeds scored whilst we were still getting through the turnstile and then all I saw was 85min of Coventry domination and a 2-1 defeat. Lads continued to get stoned whilst sat in the ground. Didn’t appear bothered about the game. Then on the way back they robbed an off license of several bottles of whiskey. Needless to say I didn’t go with them again.

Class A drugs, beer and football will always go hand in hand for a lot of people, you won’t ever stop that. It’s been happening since I started going and it happens every week when I go now. Most of the people I go with do it.

And as for the comment about not seeing fans of other clubs as rivals etc........may as well just cancel the sport if we get rid of a bit of needle between fans. Actual violence no, but a bit of animosity all day long

Man City v Chelsea, Sunday at Manchester City Stadium - I stood throughout the game in the City end, next to the Chelsea lot.

They got stick the whole game. Hardly a policeman/woman in sight. No problems noticed.

Explain.

PS. They had a nice variation of the “Leeds are falling apart again” song which referred to their opposition’s roots (.) and the fact they were beating them again.
