Some save late on by matthews, low save, was going in. This lad connelly is adding some steel to the midfield, just what you need. Back 3 so much better with beevers and wheater. Still shocking up front quality wise and only going to score from a corner or free kick. Also Birmingham wernt very good. Hopefully not a false dawn. An awful lot more needed to stay up. Maybe pp stumbled on his best side as looked better with Murphy than o neil and lowe in the back 3 than wilson. Play the side that finished on Saturday.

We have got to aim for more of the same with the same. Perhaps some practice putting the ball in to the two up front during play for the rest of the week. It'll take a mammoth effort to get to safety and more to breathing space we need to work on that goal difference while we are at it.
