People can moan about the ref all they like, fact is we created next to nothing other than a few crosses which silva dealt with no problem

Ahyeah bizarre decision.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
However, just before that a PSG player was shoved in the back during a header, blatant foul, which led to rashford breaking...so if were looking at it in hindsight, it should have been a PSG foul

Ref bottled everything it seemed and linesmen as well. I need to see it again but they seemed to get offsides wrong.

Cant wait on your stats that says that United were the better team.

Didn't pogba get away with something similar in a game earlier this season

Against Tottenham, he always does it.

Young deserved to escape a yellow purely for who he shoved off the pitch

posted on 12/2/19

The ref was card happy in the first half an hour. I don’t think you can overly complain given both Young and Pogba could have gone before half time too.

That wasn’t the issue though, it was more they neutralised Pogba very well and you didn’t have any variety, particularly after the enforced subs. Marquinhos was the best player by a mile for me.

Referee has cost us this game tonight. Cheating fecker
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No he didn’t. He was a typical continental referee and again an English team didn’t adapt to it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Didn't cost us the game but nothing typical about him. 3 PSG dives in the 1st 10 mins resulted in 2 FKs to them.

Needed to send Kimpembe off twice and didn't.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That is typical continental refereeing. Any contact is penalised.

Kimpembe could argue was another yellow but that would have been soft if it us one of our players.

We should have had a free kick close to the box and Kimpembe off and like 2 minutes later he scores. It's obvious the ref was biased towards PSG all game as we got yellows for near nothing while they're took our players out to stop counter a few times and never got booked.

Yeah and PSG should have score at least 4 tonight. Only in the second half alone

We should do everything in our power to ship Sánchez this summer. He is nothing short of diabolical.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
From the heights he hit at Arsenal his deterioration has been shocking.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It is even worse than Wazza's deteriation. Wazza was still useful.

Indeed Melton. PSG locked down our left hand side with Alves and Marquinhos and it did the trick.

They were a lot better defensively than I anticipated.

Sorry melts, but accepting the ref was unbiased, we can still complain about his performance.

He was diabolical in his decision making, had no control of the game, stopped play unnecessarily repeatedly, then tried to send the wrong player off.

Gaping holes down their left. Next match Rash should play there, acres of room for the quick through ball.

Would have served us better if Neymar was playing tonight.

I'm not too disheartened. It was a tight game before we lost Martial and Lingard. We lost to a sumptuously resourced team packed with highly experienced CL players. As well as sorting out our management, we need to work on bolstering the quality and depth of our squad (thanks to money wasted in the Mourinho era) and gradually building that big match know-how.

Pogba should have been shown a second yellow much earlier for a similar foul as the one he was sent off for. But the referee was reluctant to give a yellow/red just as with the earlier Kimbembe foul.

Sanchez really is a bag of bull isn't he? Didn't do anything.
