Not sure that's in the rule's Jonty but it would be nice if they could.
The sooner they allow goals scored as a consequence of cheating to be wiped off, the sooner people will stop it.
Needs a 10 match ban to stop this blatant cheating.
Thinks he is playing in the Premier league
Surprised about this, though not because of that it wasn't a dive, but didn't think they could do anything about the situations that the ref has seen, and called
They introduced new rules which means they now retroactively take action if there is a need.
Problem is there is no way of proving the west Brom wouldn't have equalised if the game had panned out differently and he hadent been given a penalty, meaning you can't really dock points as a result.
Also it's hardly fair to punish the whole team for the actions of one player.
Let's not forget saiz used to go over for fun, would you have expected us to have points taken away because of him?
Thoughts go back to Leeds Stuttgart.
Ineligible player comes on, result awarded 3-0 to leeds so there is precedent for changing score retrospectively.
It’s up to the authorities to see if it’s pluasible and workable in these situations.
You cant take goals off after the game. No way of knowing what would have happened if he hadnt dived.
I agree with the 10 match ban if its a blatant dive and agreed by panel. 10 weeks wages also with money given to grassroots football. Would soon stop players diving.
They won't change the score. That's just silly.
Will be a two match ban of they punish him. Same as there has been for other instances of diving.
Longer bans, 5 games plus and if you were going to get really ruthless point deductions after repeat offenses.
Would be nice if the FL could take a couple of weeks to come to any decision. Could do with him serving a ban for our match with them!
He will miss Villa and QPR unless he appeals. Then back for SU.

It wasn't the players responsibility to make sure that Stuttgart could count to three properly though and it was thus a mistake by the club, so the club was punished as a whole.
