Set up right to reflect what a modern democracy should look like or what an Islamic State should look like?
None are truly Islamic or Democratic, although Turkey seems the closest to a European democracy. None of the Muslim majority countries are close to what an Islamic should or can be when you study Islamic texts.
As an amalgamation of the two ideologies, Morocco, Turkey, the Emirates, Malaysia and Lebanon seem ok to live in. Beirut is an amazing City.
They all have there problems though!

i do think it's a response/backlash to the PC culture that's taken over and attempts to clamp down on free speech because people get offended, so act intentionally provocative so prove the right to free speech and p!ss off people who disagree. Heard Lebanon and Beruit were the cool place a to go before conflict, and would love to visit them now if they are ok.
Bit like being from Belfast and people think it is nuts, but one of the safest and friendliest places to visit and live now.
Even during the crazy times I loved it and on the edge of north Belfast we were just a little away from the murder triangle and severe communal violence.
Literally, you could live a few streets away from a loyalist or republicanvenclave in north Belfast and never see trouble
I am sure this applies to areas in the middle East we think of as war zones and crazy.

One of the worst things about this community of alt-right youtubers is that they mask their hate behind a curtain of “freedom of speech” a total abuse of this freedom.
They don’t debate their ideas and put their criticism forwards that way, they are agents of propaganda.

i do think it's a response/backlash to the PC culture that's taken over and attempts to clamp down on free speech because people get offended, so act intentionally provocative so prove the right to free speech and p!ss off people who disagree. Dubai is a very good example of different people being able to live together and share cultures.
Like you said the human rights abuses are terrible but if we look soley at the community and not the government it’s a good advert for multiculturalism.

Set up right to reflect what a modern democracy should look like or what an Islamic State should look like?
None are truly Islamic or Democratic, although Turkey seems the closest to a European democracy. None of the Muslim majority countries are close to what an Islamic should or can be when you study Islamic texts.
As an amalgamation of the two ideologies, Morocco, Turkey, the Emirates, Malaysia and Lebanon seem ok to live in. Beirut is an amazing City.
They all have there problems though!

Heard Lebanon and Beruit were the cool place a to go before conflict, and would love to visit them now if they are ok.
Bit like being from Belfast and people think it is nuts, but one of the safest and friendliest places to visit and live now.
Even during the crazy times I loved it and on the edge of north Belfast we were just a little away from the murder triangle and severe communal violence.
Literally, you could live a few streets away from a loyalist or republicanvenclave in north Belfast and never see trouble
I am sure this applies to areas in the middle East we think of as war zones and crazy.
