Spurs Players Passing/Possession

Yes!

Strangely the person I'm most comfortable with in possession is Sissoko now. I'm also v comfortable with Eriksen, Winks, Toby, Jan and Kane in possession.

In order or least confident / most worried:

1) Foyth (that will change though)
2) Sanchez
3) Moura (different area of the pitch so it's normally fired at him and he'll have multiple defenders around him but I never think he's going to keep the ball when he receives it.

Foyth is absolutely superb on the ball, and there’s no way we should be made to feel nervous when he has it.

The problem is, he believes he’s roughly 10% better than he actually is, so gets into silly positions by trying too much. He’ll iron that out his game.

He is Phil, but he can and does get caught in possession. He did a great turn to get away from two defenders yesterday and was rightly applauded, but he was isolated...had one of them nicked it they would've been in. It's great he has that confidence in his ability, but it worries me.

He plays on the boundaries of risk. He's young, he'll certainly learn from any mistakes and he looks a real prospect, but today, he's one when in possession I think it could be dangerous for us.

Despite the huge improvement I'm never really convinced Sissoko has much of a clue what to with the ball at his feet.

TBF if he keeps charging forwards with it like last night I don't really care

Yeah that’s fair. And actually I think that brilliant little turn and run he did was an example of the problem - it gave him too much confidence. So a few minutes later in a similar situation he tried it again - and lost the ball.

Despite his impressive contributions, I always feel like Dele is going to lose it. Lamela to a worse extent.

Foyth is a great prospect, but I can't help it....he does give me the heebie-jeebies.

He is prone to losing the ball in dangerous areas and, as a result, making a lunging tackle to try to recover thereby giving away a penalty or a free kick in a dangerous area.

As Flashy says, he will improve and rid this from his game.

Dele loses it quite a lot but that’s because he tries to make things happen more than others. He plays with creative risk and when it comes off it’s brilliant, but means he frustrates at times too giving away the ball

You need the balance of safe players like winks and the danger players like Alli.

Love this team!

Just be careful, if Son has more games like that, a big club is sure to come in for him

Okay thanks. I'll be careful.

Sanchez - yes
Foyth - yes, although hes technically very good, he takes lots of risks
Lloris - yes.. poor with feet
Aurier - yes
Trippier - no .. its his constant being out of position that winds me up
Davies - technically very sound

good summary

Davies speed, awareness and agression lets him down more than anything.
