Er, not to derail you out my guy, but i am little concerned of the rumour of Salah to Juve and Dybala to Liverpool.
With £44 Mill on top!?!
This cannot happen. That will be a problem.. a big problem.
And has anyone heard the rumour of Sanchez back to Arsenal?!
My warped mind think the only way to facilitate that deal is with Ozil going the other way.
Maybe its the morn Espresso doing me nut, but still... If any of these rumours come true, i'm gonna throw up.... IN WOODWARDS FACE!!!

I mentioned the rumours about Ndombele a few days ago.

From little I saw and reports I read, he could add something and there is a reason many are interested in him. We still would need an alternative to Pogba though.

He's an upgrade on Herrera, box to box, bursts through midfield like ex Spurs player Dembele and has bags of energy.

----------------------------

Apart from the Dembele part, isn't that what Fred was supposed to be?

Was, and is, supposed to be.

It’s a sky article, so about as reliable as paper talk.

No not necessarily.

Jose never stipulated why he was brought and who he’d replace, his skill set seem to suggest that he can play in a creative role.

A back up midfield of Matic, Herrera and Fred seems balanced and solid. None of us would be scared to have either one of them step up into the first 11 if players are injured either. Not only that but I believe they can offer good competition for any midfielders we bring in.

We need to go back to the days where we had two solid options for each position. Not having that cost us against PSG.

If Ole stays, I think that there is a good chance that Gomes will be his understudy next season.

I think we'e in a position where we have to look at the youth players next year, to play an important role. The money we would need to fix all of the problem positions would be out of this world.

Maybe not quite to the same level (as in starting every week), but you may see a 1995 type clear out of some big names to be replaced with the likes of Chong, Gomes and Greenwood.

Yes, I think that we have a huge opportunity to replace some of the deadwood in the team with the promising youngsters that we have coming through. I would love to see those 3, plus TFM and Axel brought into the team as backup. And I know that Rosso thinks that Garner is also ready.

It would be amazing if Ole brought them all into the squad next season and we just gave them and the younger players already in the squad a few years to develop together. Although it is unlikely they will have the same impact as the class of 92, I just feel that there is potentially something special in this crop of youngsters that could set us up for years.

It is probably the romantic in me, but with Ole coming back and understanding the club, Harrison passing away and the number of promising kids we have, it just feels like the right time to believe in the kids and give them a chance.

I honestly feel that with 3 signings and bringing through those guys into the squad would be much stronger. Especially with how Ole is looking to set up. I know the hindsight is a wonderful thing, but we might have been better served having Chong and Greenwood on the bench against PSG, as Ole didn't have anything on the bench to replace like for like when Martial and Rashford got injured.

I definitely think he'll leave Lyon this summer. Trouble is plenty of clubs will be in for him.

I have no idea if Garner is ready. To me, though, he *looks* like the player most ready to take the step up.

Don't start backing off now! I've just bought 200 shares for him on the footballers index.

Ndombele is a transition player which is exactly what Fred was before he came.

I'd rather we give Fred more time to adjust before bringing in a similar player tbh.

We either need a better holding player than Matic or some reliable cover for that role, depending on how you rate Matic and we need somebody who can offer more in the way or control and creativity.

I've heard there might be an exodus of midfielders at Bayern this summer and Thiago might be one of them. For what we lack and what he can offer in various roles, I think he'd be a great addition and he wouldn't cost the world.

That’s how we buy players. Ed monitors ja606 for rumours and suggestions, after seeing 5 articles daily for months from robb on pogba, we took the plunge.

Robb, we need an article on Messi every hour..,

I really don't understand this adjustment thing people keep throwing about.

Will a foreign player struggle with communication on the pitch? A little.

But this isn't taking a rugby player into football. It's a football player changing the location of his 90mins a week from Ukraine to England. The game is the same, the skills required are the same.

If the man who spent £53m on Fred couldn't justify playing him and his successor doesn't rate him at all seemingly it doesn't bode well.

What is it you don't get?

Plenty of players have found it difficult adapting initially to new surroundings and taken more time than others would to settle in a different country where they don't speak the language or know the culture. That's even before you get into getting used to playing at a new club with new teammates but sure it's only changing the location of his 90 mins a week from Ukraine to England.

Fred may well not workout but it's not unlikely that he's still having issues settling for one reason or another and if that's the case it could well be having an impact on him on the pitch.

He's not the first player that this has happened to and he won't be the last.
