Overall, proud of the team's ability to compete and match Palace for large periods in many areas but ultimately, our lack of penetration in the final third did for us. Losing Wilks at the 11th hour was, I feel, significant - but we will never really know. Palace were very professional and managed the game well, as you would expect.
Agree with most, but.
May, just not good enough, yes he was playing against a prem team, so was everyone else. He ran around all game, yet no end product. He used to have speed, thats been proved he nolonger has it after yesterday. His little kick outs n shirt pulls are getting a bit worrying. Think he's No.4 in the pecking order behind Wilks, Smith, Sadler now.
Whiteman, was their man to mark out the game, every time he received the ball they were straight on him, yet any of the back four were left to try to pass it forward.
Crawford won us the ball back more than any other player, his corners are something than needs sorting. As his free kicks are bang on.
Blair my Mom,
Marquis never had a sniff,
Copps got MoM according to the press.
C/B pairing, Butler and Wright must be hoping one of them gets injured, Anderson had 3 or 4 runs into the opposition half that looked well threatening.
Sadler, the more I see of him the more I understand why McCann raves about him being the uncut diamond.
Tommy, is he still carrying an injury, or does McCann know he's going Peterborough. Watch this space.
We got beat by a team with premier experience, nothing to be ashamed off.
Nookie, in my Internet security service I specified the VPN location to be London and I can now watch video highlights previously not watchable. However, to watch live transmissions on iPlayer it appears you have to give TV licence details, or at least say you have one. Obviously I do not, and that would be fraud to say so. I know the risk is small, but as I could lose my Immigration Status (I'm a Permanent Resident Alien) by committing such a crime, it is not worth the risk.
Well, tha wa' best Yorkshire Lad, even though it wan't quite as bad as 4 nowt. (I expect you, like all of those going for a loss were hoping to be wrong.)
Anyway, it's over and re-focusing is apparently taking place with Glanford Park the test-bed.
