if you bought on the day with the £5 surcharge could easily be looking at £50?
Don't think there's going to be an opportunity to buy on the day for some time.
Good thing in more ways than one
Should really reduce the away end capacity to give more tickets to home fans
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Other clubs will follow suit & reduce their away capacity for our fans.
We have to be careful with that one.
I’m expecting at least £45 a ticket for the east and west stands for the likes of Watford etc
The top 6 plus maybe Newcastle and Everton could be over £50
I’m not comfortable with the increases considering the club will receive so much tv cash etc.
You can't be not comfortable with increases you have made up yourself.

Was a big section of empty seats again v Swansea. A good 500-1000 more tickets could have been sold. Or to put another way, 500-1000 people missed out on seeing the game.
Premier League have a minimum in regards to away allocations.
Home tickets will only have a slight increase maximum. Income via tickets is largely irrelevant nowadays in proportion to other income streams.
Pro, I think you are wrong about match day ticket prices, will be a large increase. There has to be to give ST holders value.
ST price is something like £24 per game. Doesn't need to be £40 for a general ticket for value.
East and west stands around £720 I believe for a ST
Works out over £30 a match
But next season it’s only 19 matches which makes a big difference, around £38 a match.
Ticket prices will be over £40 for sure if promoted.
As for the north and south stands I don’t know the prices for a ST

There in is the flaw in your logic. You've taken the most expensive area. If the most expensive general ticket is £40-£50 that's perfectly fine, at the moment it's £38. That would be only a slight increase.
Actually there is not a flaw. There is a reason why I based my calculations on the expensive tickets.
The north and south stands are early sold out with season ticket holders. No point in doing calculations on a small amount of tickets that are left in those stands.
The vast majority of match day tickets are in the east and west stands.

One massive flaw in that.
There four less games in the prem 🙈🙈🙈🙈
I already stated 19 matches in the PL
It’s obvious there will be a hike in prices.
ER too small and exploiting or using the huge fan base.
The club are out of order though because if we don’t get promoted they wil put season tickets on sale for new applicants.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because of the capacity of Elland Rd, the minimum you'd be forced to give away fans is 3,000. It's 10% up to a 30k capacity but anything bigger than that and it can be limited to 3,000
Have we been promoted? GET IN! must have missed it
There was an IF in the article kebab
As for a minimum 3000 that is correct, however exemptions can be granted by the PL I have read.

Pricing out fans is not a solution, however I take your point.

My you’ve changed your mind....
I personally would already have planning application in to demolish the JC stand and replace we another cantilever one identical to the one opposite.
Go 1 season of reduced capacity and then up the numbers of season tickets to 32,000 once capacity is increased to 45-50k

I am predicting a price hike
