And before he joined United, Alexis was the best all-round offensive player in the PL. He could score, dribble and assist. Plus he was fast, strong and had a trophy-laden CV.
It’s only with hindsight that it’s a bad deal.
You can have him back Liquid, the guy is a busted flush. Never seen such a useless player for us, even Obertan contributed more than him.

Of course they are. But when it is for a player who was already showing signs of decline in his final season at Arsenal then it makes the comparison against a world class player (albeit a GK) that much more eye watering.
If we do get VDS in as DoF, then we will be the bestest everest goal keeper club in the world

Sanchez is a mistake in retrospect. He also cost no fee, and we got rid of the waste of space that was Mkhi in that. All relative to the situation in terms of wages. DDG is worth whatever it takes for him to stay
He didn’t cost a fee, but if you consider we swapped an asset worth money - that could have been sold - it still cost us money acquiring his signature.

Yeah it cost us £30m. Wasn't a free signing.
Mhki was a far better player for us than Sanchez will ever be. Was a cut above Lingard above too. Could have done with keeping him.
