We have a 9 day rest which is crucial because we need to regroup and regain composure. It allows us to assess without rush and build anticipation.

Bolton will cup final us no doubt, but its preferable because a sluggish game breeds complacency. A refreshed Leeds vs a broken relegation candidate AT HOME! ...

Meanwhile, the 4 teams around us PLAY EACH OTHER. So with a win we WILL hurt the standings.

West Brom at home to the blades and a win streak Bristol play Norwich.

We then play QPR who in 7 days have West Brom, Boro and then us.

Imo we have the better run in over the next few weeks.

What makes you think I’m not enjoying it ?
I didn’t give us a chance of promotion with squad.
Bielsa has worked miracles.

We have as good a chance as any for the automatics. The only team that will beat us is......., Leeds United.

This season is our season.

Norwich and Sheff Utd sent out a big message yesterday. Norwich have a few injured key players and Sheffield Utd rested Sharp ffs. Cant see us putting 4 past Bolton, we're too wasteful. Just gotta get as many wins as we can but its going to be very close.

Not sure that Norwich and Sheff Utd sent out a big message. They beat two relegation teams. Was it a big a message when we beat Ipswich or Preston 3 nil?

Agreed that I can't see us scoring 4 just because we don't put the ball in the back of the net as much as we should but all our games against those sort of teams have been just as dominant in the game.

ShaunM I agree they sent out a big message as did wba

What message did Norwich send out when they played Preston.

posted on 17/2/19

Norwich dominated against Preston, Preston just took there few chances. Norwich sent out a message because they responded to a 3-1 defeat by trashing the next team they played. Would we thrash someone after a defeat? Don't think we would. They also had a few key players injured, yet won easily. So they showed no nerves or lack of focus after a defeat, they sent out a message. Sheff Utd rested there top striker and still scored 4 against a team who have been doing well lately. Preston will probably beat us, so we can cut Norwich some slack there too.

When was the last time we won 4-0 Kamara ?

posted on 17/2/19

If it was us that had just lost to Preston and then won 4-0 these same posters would be focusing on the defeat and how we can only do it against relegation fodder.

Shaun defending Norwich for dominating and not putting chances away has spent the whole season slagging Leeds off dominating sides and not taking our chances.

Faith, I can’t agree, it’s the championship every team loses games, win the next 2 makes up for the loss.
I just wish we could put teams away sometimes.

Why will Preston probably beat us, Shaun?

I get being nervous, it's going to be a tight run in. But that's so negative. Preston couldn't get near us in the reserve fixture at Elland Road and our third choice striker got 2 goals.

I agree Kamara, but when you don’t put teams away when dominating they can come back and snatch a result which could mean not finishing top 2

The fact is that we are in control of our destiny. Because of our run in, and the fact that other teams have to play each other, I think we have more of a cushion than we realise. The big plus for me is that our defence is starting to look more solid. A couple of 1-0 wins will be fine for me in the next couple of games.

You know the commentators curse...
They’ve never lost at home to xxxx since 1923”
And then we go and lose to them at home etc etc....

At turn of year everyone was banging on about how if you’re too at Christmas you pretty much always go up....I’m thinking please, don’t say that, you just know Leeds will do their best to prove them wrong!!!!
