Definitely offers more, with more potential than Trippier. He does look very poor on the ball sometimes and a liability but cant really sharpen up too much if you are rotated out of the team every other game.
Reality is Trippier has had an awfully bad season, other than a few free kicks, he hasnt done much right. Cant defend, out of position, slow, cant win headers, looks lazy. Even his crossing woeful which was his strength, he used to cross dangerously first time, now he ponders in possession and is a very tedious footballer.

I just think Aurier is showing a lot more than Trippier and deserves his chance. I think Aurier has shown that is the least he deserves. I don`t think he is too bad at all on the ball.
He's the best option available but not a good option.
We haven't replaced Walker sadly.

Walker was really decent, but you have to remember he was not always flavour of the month with a lot of our supporters when he first started. Aurier needs a decent run in the team I think to see the best out of him.
Aurier certainly should be first choice now until Trippier gets his head down and recaptures his WC form.
I think and I am sure so does Poch too, that Aurier and Lamela both suit European games and style of play. Aurier seems to be player of choice in Europe and Lamela is seen as sub of choice, unless injuries change that plan.
If we have a physical game in the league, Trippier seems to be preferred.
Neither are great but have attributes that seems the other one doesn't have.
I have been less impressed with Trippier since the wc.
Yup, Aurier has earnt the right (or more Trippier has lost it) to be first choice to the end of the season.
We know Trippier isn't good enough so we need to find out if Aurier is. If he doesn't do well then it's probably best to sell him in the summer.

Great comment.
KWP has looked decent but clearly isn't ready
Walker suited us perfectly especially when we adapted to the 5 at the back. An athlete, we need another one like that.
Totally agree. Trippier needs to get his aggression and concentration back. World Cup praise has made him complacent.
People always say experience and winning things is important. Aurier has won more than most our squad. now all of sudden his experi3nce doesn't count.
They are both not good enough Walker peters and max Aaron’s from Norwich will be our future right back options

Never heard of Max Aaron, and KWP decent, but cannot see him as a regular starter as it stands.

Best right back in the championship is Aaron’s. KWP path is being blocked by two players who are not doing enough to warrant being 1st choice at a club heading to a place in champions league for another season
Sandy one decent ball into the box and your creaming your pants, no were near the standard we need if we intend to challenge for titles, neither is Trippier

Not at all mate, he has contributed more than one cross, his performances have been decent. You have to put more meat on the bones of why you think he is not good enough. What has he done so radically wrong that makes him not good enough. Always put the case, don`t just put up like kneejerk posts.
