I would say play Pablo or Robert's in the number 10 role and the other outwide. Shackleton is and option as is playing Alioski wide left, Pablo at 10 and bring in Davis at LB. Options options

On reflection, I don’t know who else I’ve left out that isn’t injured.

Perhaps Clarke? But I don’t think we’ll see much of him again this season.

Castilla is better than the keeper who was our original first-choice. Ayling / Jansson / Cooper / Alioski is our strongest back-four at the moment and would all feature in our "best starting XI". Phillips / Klich / Hernandez are all "starting XI" players. Bamford is our £7 million striker.

From that line-up above, only Roberts and Harrison are not automatic choices for the first eleven, and both are players who have contributed positively to our season so far.

Actually 6 of them did and 2 others came on as subs.

Castilla wasn't at the club.

The starting 11 is fine. But the options from the bench are almost none existent now.

Would be literally just Brown, who hasn’t even played once yet.

Not at all pal.

Youngsters Leeds have produced over the last 5 years or so have been excellent.

Clarke, Shackleton, Phillips and BPF have all played this season.

But there’s only so much you can lean on the U23’s to produce.

Subs bench is not asking a lot of a young professional footballer.

Subs are a vital part of a promotion push. It gives the manager alternate options and tactical adjustments.

Having a very weak bench is a hinderence, don’t pass it off as irrelevant.
