Tough draw making you leave the country.

Would love a repeat of our 2011 semi. btw Chelsea tonight played just the same way they played against us - fancy enough going forwards but seriously exposed in defence. Sarri is one inflexible fecker. Bizarre subs too when you are chasing the game.

Napoli were excellent under him though. The players obviously aren’t buying into it, which is why he’s making moves for people he’s worked with before in the transfer market. Can’t see him outlasting Hazard there though, and he’ll be gone for sure in the summer.

Still think he needs a bit of time, there’s a few similarities with us in Guardiolas first season - they’re not good enough without the ball yet for his tactics to work. Some of that is personnel, some of it is time.

They need to score the first goal in games, otherwise it accentuates the issues a lot more.

Will he get that first season and backing in the summer though? A lot of the fans are starting to turn on him and that didn’t really happen with Guardiola.

I highly doubt it, think he's a goner.

You'll never get a better chance to match our 99 season. Juggling these high pressure PL games with tough cup games is a real challenge and you're not getting any tough cup games. Seems like we're getting them all. Even Schalke are absolutely pants.

It will take an embarrassing failure of a performance for us not to book a second trip to Wembley of the season.

We lost 3 games in the league all season and didn't lose one in the CL despite playing Bayern 3 times, Juventus twice, Barcelona twice and Inter twice.

We lost 4 times all season in all 4 competitions.

Plus the fact Liverpool are on course to get 100pts the season after you did just shows how big the gap has got between the big teams and smaller teams.

I wouldn't want more than 2 maybe 3 of those Liverpool players in our 99 team so it just shows the points totals mean diddly.
