GK: Lloris
CB: Toby, Vert and Sanchez
CM: Alli and Eriksen
RW: Messi
LW: Son
CAM: Ronaldo
ST: Kane & Mbappe

Surely you'd play Messi at CAM, Mbappe at RW and Ronaldo at ST?

Messi and Son as wingbacks with Alli and Eriksen the only DM/CM's.

Nice attack, but that side would get beat by any decent team imo.

I agree with Mbappe and VVD.

Then I would pick a good ball playing DM with good awareness. I don't think that position suits Kante. I dont know who I would pick to be honest.

M'bappe - Kane - Messi
------Son -------- Eriksen
----------Casemeiro -----
Rose - Verts - Toby - Aurier

Are there any young Busquets around?

That's the kind of DM I want to see behind Herrera and Pogba.

Me too. A young player like Busquets/Carrick. There are the likes of Weigl and Neves but I dont know if they are good enough or would suit that position.

Ooh, forgot about Casemiro. Take out Jorginho for him in my team and just play Emerson instead of Sandro.

Only thing with my suggestions (VVD/Kante or Casemeiro/Mbappe) is that we still wouldn't have anyone decent at set pieces.

Is there a way to get KDB and Pogba playing in the same midfield 3?

Maybe play KDB where Herrera has been playing and move Herrera back into Matics position (where I like him anyway)?

Maybe they'd have a few ridiculously high scoring wins, but there's a reason he still plays Fernandinho and actual defenders as wingbacks (Walker/Delph/Mendy etc).

Maybe he should try this though against someone;

Ederson
Laporte Kompany Stones
Mahrez Silva KDB Silva Sane
Sterling Aguero

Still leaving out Jesus as well

Lloris

WAN-BISSAKA
Alderweireld
Vertonghen
Rose

NEVES
N'DOMBELE
Eriksen

Son
Kane
Alli

I know there are better players out there, but if you're talking about players who would fit the team's system and ethos, then for Spurs you're looking at younger players with high development potential. Superstars on crazy money wouldn't fit into the team.

Wan-Bissaka would be a solid, athletic and dynamic right back/right wing-back to replace the dreadful Trippier and unreliable Aurier.

Neves would be the Modric-style deep playmaker who would dictate tempo and orchestrate play, plus he has a rocket shot and is superb at switching play to the quick men up top.

N'Dombele would be the Vieira-/Yaya-style midfield general, capable of bursting past a man and creating chances.

That team/squad could win the league, in my opinion, given that players who are currently first-teamers would become very good backup - Aurier, Winks, Sissoko, Dier.

Mbappe, and whoever.
They are my three.👍

Neves at Spurs would be worth watching but is it realistic?

Out of their budget? We don't know what that will be but considering nothing was spent, stadium issues etc i wouldn't bet against another frugal window.

Mbappe, Varane and 1 of Kante/Casemiro.

Anything else is silly.

SarriBall needs about six more to work so being limited to three is tough. I'd have to go with Alli, Salah & Alex Sandro.

Alli - We DESPERATELY need a no.8 Lampard type midfielder whose good on the ball but knows how to attack spaces properly and provide a goal threat. I was very tempted to put Pogba but having him combined with Hazard on the left side is too defensively vulnerable. Also, if we're being very realistic, we have a strong bias to signing English players atm, Alli's one of the best right now.

Salah - Proper SarriBall's all about movement from the attacking five, and the RW has the defensive cover of Kante & Azpl behind him so he can effectively hang off the shoulder like a striker (as Salah does for Pool). He'd fit the style and the system's existing components perfectly.

Alex Sandro - At it's best SarriBall's left side centric and Alonso's c**p. That's pretty much it

Ironically, if he progresses like we hope, Mount will trun out to be perfect in that role.
