From those listed in the op, I’ll go with Blind, Zaha and Rafael.

As a thought experiment, it would be really interesting to see some of those players under Solskjaer. Given how much better our current squad has performed since he came, I don't doubt that some of them would have thrived had he been appointed earlier.

I'd pick Rafael and Zaha - two players whose qualities appealed to Solskjaer's mentor. And let's say Blind, whose head-up, intelligent football always warmed my cockles.

Always liked Blind myself, but his lack of any pace what so ever was always going to stop him becoming a top player.

I had him as an upgrade on Phil Neville. Same thing I suppose.

Blind was a downgrade on Vidic. Vidic had 2 i's.

thought Blind was badly underused by Jose, especially when he moaned about needing someone to play out from the back... Obviously just not tall enough... Or a case of jose talking crap for the sake of it

Zaha has kicked on into a decent player, pace and able to play across the front
