Only thing I took away from that game is that Bayern are a shadow of the team they were a few years ago.
Nullify Lewandowski and they look about as threatening as we did under Mourinho.
It helped that Bayern parked the bus
Martinez would have been perfect for a Mourinho bus park extraordinare.

Lewa was a huge part of their problem, with heir wingers doing so much defensive work they have nothing in behind.
Theybdefended well other than a 10 minute spell before half time though
Bayern looked a shadow of themselves in attacking areas that's for sure. Not surprising if you are playing Gnabry.

Ribery showed more quality in his late cameo than Gnabry and Coman combined, I’m starting to think Coman, in particular, is massively overrated (not based solely on last night of course).
I thought Bayern played it quite tbh, pretty shrewd away performance but I think Liverpool will score at least one out in Germany.
The is poised, as they say.
Gnabry looked good to me, done Robertson with ease a few times, but for some bizzare reason Bayern in the second half just parked the bus and were happy with a 0-0 and didn't really try to attack
With that liverpool defence Bayern should feel like 0-0 is a poor result
Fancy the scousers to score away from home and go through

didn't they have more possession than you? they just didn't have the pace up front without robben
Kingsley Coman was absolute rubbish . Wasted it every time he got it.

49/51 but alot of that was the back 4 passing to each other. They had pace out wide but we also have pace in full backs so not a factor.

Yeah it was Lewandowski that was the issue, great as he is, he needs players around him if you're going to play like that.
Thought Rodriguez, Coeman and he were terrible yesterday.
However tactically it worked well, Liverpool never looked like scoring second half so hats off to them for that.
