I'll be watching from the Alps. The last 4 times I've watched United vs Liverpool while skiing United have won. Here's to 5 in a row. <Ok>

Our midfield will defo have to be at the races in order to combat their stifling pressing game so I’m hoping for big performances from Pogba, Herrera and Matic.

I too hope that both Martial and Lingard are fit because VVD has previously showed that he can match Lukaku shoulder to shoulder so I’d employ a more fluid attack that keeps them guessing which means the tried and tested route of JLM.

We need to put pressure on their back line especially on Alisson as he has a proclivity to dance in his own box as it were.

Depending on if/when the first goal is scored I can see it being quite open and wouldn’t bet against seeing a couple of goals for either side.

OGS has shown that he isn’t afraid to throw caution to the wind so I’m confident that we can hurt them as much as they can hurt us.

A 2-2 would be an apt result for us.

I will be honest.

I would take a draw today.

People are severely underestimating the issues LFC have had playing at old trafford historically. We last won there in 2013/14 i think when we won 3-0 and they had their issues with moyes

Since then with europa and other cups we haven't won there.

Simple as.... I can see exactly where utd witll target us but having watched LFC form for last 6 weeks... we are looking for a break and for mane to actually get his 10% goals to changes ratio working in his favour.

San Miguel has been telling us all week that Utd are definitely going to win this one.

I think he should allow us to pick a new user name for a month if we win as he is that confident of beating us.

What do you think San Miguel? Put your name where your mouth is?

2-1 or 3-1. UTD.
just gonna be all out war. Would i take a draw now? hell no.
Its win at all cost or die trying!
We owe them a bloody nose for December.
They have to suffer!

Think it will be a big win for Liverpool, unless Solskjaer plays a similar game to the one Mourinho employs against Liverpool, like he did against Spurs. If so then probably a draw as we haven't been doing well lately against packed defences.

Big win , Lol

where have I seen this before

If Young plays then that’s Salah in his pocket and Liverpool with 10 men

Young playing left back then?

Heart says win, head says lose.

I'd feel more confident with Lingard and Martial back in. Then going off V PSG was very big.

People underestimate how much this affected us second half.

I think Liverpool will win this one, they've had a good rest and we had a physically demanding game on Monday.

Yes I mentioned how those 2 being out would impact you , they are out for a few weeks aren’t they ?

That clown said the same back in December before we thrashed them at Anfield. He is the United board’ Got Better.

Hard one to call this. Liverpool aren’t very good at Old Trafford, but still have the quality to take the game away from us if their attack clicks, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if they win. I think we’ll find it hard against their defence with Martial and Lingard missing. Think it’ll be a tight game and probably end up in a draw.

posted on 20/2/19

Would take the draw if offered it now. Sends us back top.

posted on 20/2/19

If Maureen was still there i'd expect a draw or just scraping a win, but with Ole in charge they'll probably come at us which should give us more space get in behind them.

Heart says crackheads 0–5 Liverpool

Head says crackheads 0–4 Liverpool

Of course a lot will depend on how much of a homer the ref is.

Ole's got too much mojo for the dips, even with Toni and Jesse out we squeak by with a heartbreaker - for them. The Dipp Slipp always comes in the 2nd half of the season - let's get this started.....Pogba will do something magnificent in this match.

Too close to call..but...Liverpool need to win, means so much more this season.

United going to Liverpool even when we were the much much better side was never easy. Same applies now and the gap between the two isn't as big as the table suggests. The league finishes last season and Jose's meltdown this season are testament to that.

It's going to be a very tight game. Head says 1-1 or even 2-2 but heart says feck those bin dipping rats, United 2-0.

It's also true that when Liverpool were dominant they often tripped up at United. Not sure I'd describe them as dominant at the moment, but you need your fullbacks at it against them, and that's where yous could have a problem. Down one side anyways.

Wouldn’t want to predict the result, but I do think a United win would see Liverpool’s title challenge crumble.

I can see a draw but nothing would surprise me.

Is Valencia fit? I'd bring him back in against Liverpool if he is. He's a much better defender than Young, and Mane is Liverpool's biggest threat right now. I fear for Young up against him.
