They are also safe in the knowledge that even two Schalke goals without reply in the second leg would only level the tie up at 6-6, but their six goals tonight would see them through.

If a draw is made easier by clubs like Everton spurs arsenal Liverpool crashing out is that our fault.

Also have you seen our champions league drawers over the last few years

Well it has nothing to do with clubs that have gone out. For example City could have drawn Spurs or City in the semi-final of the league cup, and guess what they drew Burton. They could have drawn United or Chelsea in the FA Cup, and guess what they drew Newport. They could have drawn Barca or Real Madrid in the CL, and guess what they drew the easiest team left Schalke.

Everything to do with the luck of the draw mate, however much you may deny it.
