That's just fine by me as I'm sure it is with most Rangers fans.

Why would we want us to sell our best player?

It's a weird trait of some Celtic fans.

They somehow want to sell their best players, and in the process get the Suvull Kalkylaytur oot and it's a spunkfest of ridiculous fees they think they'll get.

Dembele dollars nat.

Aye much rather keep the players. I’m sure most bhoys do as well in fairness

Sure I read somewhere Morelos wouldn’t qualify for a work permit down south? Might explain the lack of rumours of interest from there.

He’ll go for what a club and rangers agree he’s worth, which might cause an issue in itself. But we’ll see.

He has a permit to work for Rangers-not the UK.

If he moves employer, then he’ll need to apply for a new permit, and the rules are more stringent in England.

Has to get endorsed by the governing footballing body-the SFA are more lax than the English FA.

So these more stringent rules in England are from the FA and not the home office?

He'd have no problem getting one if he moved to England.

Yeah it's more difficult to get a work permit to play in the English league's.

Quite a few players struggle and Morelos has only played once for his country, don't even think he was in their U21s or anything so he might find it difficult if he were to try and move down south.

Sure Rangers won't be complaining

posted on 21/2/19

Can't be that difficult when they are signing guys without caps etc and he's got caps and been in 3 out of the last 4 squads.

Would be nice if he got stuck for an extra season or two but i reckon that is pie in the sky.

Chelsea and City have several players who haven't played for their national side out on loan because they can't get a work permit to play in the English league.

You have to get an endorsement for a WP from the governing body-he wouldn’t automatically qualify and the appeals process makes it-I’m sure from what I read-nigh on impossible for him.

So, no, he wouldn’t qualify for a work permit. Certainly not right now.

The endorsement from the SFA is based on 3 people agreeing that a player would be an asset to our game. It’s complwtely different.

I’ve read a bit on it there and there’s the usual criteria of international apps.
There’s also a median transfer fee criteria.

I’m not sure it’s a certainty he wouldn’t get one. So while it may be slightly harder , it’s no certainty he wouldn’t get one.

It’s actually gonna be big problem with brexit looming. Guys like Kante wouldn’t have been granted a work permit under the current rules after brexit.

I suspect they will need to soften their stance

It’s on a points based system for the appeal, and he wouldn’t currently have enough points from memory.
