I’m really pleased with that performance the night.

A lot of credit to Rodgers for the way he’s set the team up and the players for playing it out well.

I’m not even going to call out the few negatives as that was way beyond what I thought tonight would be.

Something to build on I hope.

I’ve said it once though and I’ll say it again. Kris Ajer is going to be a top centre half in years to come.

Ajer’s chance, I just wanted that to go in for the fans over there. What a feeling that would have been.

Would love us to splurge a bit on a good ball playing CB to play alongside him for next year, so many of our failings in Europe over the years have been due to defenders not being able to stay composed when pressed.

i quite like big ajer at centre half, he's a bit raw but i like his confidence to take the ball forward ten yards, often beyond the midfield who should be doing that.

Yes he’s a good player and has had a few hard knocks (including a leg break) since we signed him so I’m delighted for him that he is playing well now 👍
