I think the top 3 is decidedly easy to pick. Who would go against Bergkamp, RVN and RVP, and in that order?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
RVP not top three for me. Two seasons when he scored over 18 goals for a striker isn't good enough.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As opposed to who else?
He would have scored over 20 in 3 consecutive seasons but for lack of games. He was the best striker/player in the PL between 2010-2013.

Not to mention countless injuries and not even being an out and out striker for much of his time in the PL.
A peak RVP was a wonderful player, his left foot is/was a thing of beauty.
No Winston Bogarde or Royston Drenthe?

It's missing Jan Kromkamp. Another victim of the pipe
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My thoughts exactly. Jan Kromkamp was the best thing to come from Netherlands since gin.
What about Jay Roy Grot? I know you Gooners have never heard of him. I wish we hadn't.

Best Dutchman in PL?
Vincent Van Gogh
The guy had it down to a fine art...
If you want gauge impact.
Bergkamp must win this 100%
Van persie.. meh.
Robben.. left too soon.
overmars.. same left too soon
see the trend?
You actually have to achieve something as well.
Haven’t read back through all the comments, but is this only about the PL era? If so, it would be a shame, because otherwise Arnold Muhren would have surely deserved a mention. One of my childhood heroes when he was at Ipswich.
Thyssen as well. Can't remember him being that good if I'm being honest, but Muhren certainly was.

I had an Ipswich football shirt when I was a kid. It had an actual photo of Mick Mills on it!

Haha, quality!
I was really big on Ipswich as a kid ... to the point my brothers called me Ipswich as a nickname. Still never set foot in the place in my entire life. The fact they were my first team back then ahead of Real Madrid must put me up there with the most clueless glory hunters in the history of mankind!
alan brazil was good for ipswich back in those days
now, ofcourse, he's the fat drunk on talksport radio
dennis and rudd are two of the best period, never mind dutch. vvd in five years after he wins a bunch of medals will be there too.
Top 5 are Bergkamp, RVP, Robben, RVN and VDS in no particular order
Ah so having looked at the list the Dutch clearly know their stuff

Mad how as soon as a Liverpool player does well this comes out
It is embarrassing that VVD is on that list.
Far, far too soon to even be mentioned in the same sentence as the Premier League's best Dutch player.

Has played more games than Van Der Vaart. IMO 136 games is enough.

Let's be honest, anyone who thinks either of those two qualify as the best Dutch player ever to play in the PL, as things stand, needs their head pounded against a brick wall.
