It’s all very odd how certain outlets report these football fans in these instances but quite happily name our clubs fans.

It’s embarrassing.

The referee again was to blame for Celtics defeat last night. Referees have always made mistakes and always will. Even with VAR folk will disagree.

Quick, Rangers fans caught being sectarian. Go arrest some kants for those fake threats against Beaton.

Honestly, it's all got too poisonous for me.

It's been building for years and for me, following the senior game in Scotland is just not enjoyable any more.

Was one of the linesmen the other night an ex Rangers player?

We should stop referencing the team supported when reporting these incidents, it only brings in the tribalism and we get nowhere fast.

Instead of football fan, Celtic fan or Rangers fan how about something like Neanderthal aged 32 charged for sectarian offences.

I wonder how they even know they are football fans and what relevance to the charges are that they are football fans?

Or just bring in foreign refs and then no one can be accused of being biased
