OP is probably pretty spot on though Martial has far more potential than Mane/Salah

Not sure he has more potential than Salah. If he becomes better than Salah has been the last two seasons then we have really have got something.

To be totally serious, only Pogba gets into the Liverpool side.

Martial could possibly play instead of Firmino but then you're just decreasing Salah & Mane's impact on the game.

Mane is pretty hit and miss from what I see of him. Always dangerous but inconsistent in his finishing and final pass.

In the PL, Mane has 23 starts, 1 sub appearance, 12 goals and 1 assist. 58 shots.

By contract, Martial has 15 starts, 5 sub appearances, 9 goals and 2 assists. He rarely finished a game under Jose either. 30 shots.

Playing Marital out wide is probably the worst thing you can do to him as a player.

Completely disagree.

He isn't a centreforward. He's terrible with his back to goal and his natural game isn't on the shoulder.

He needs the ball on the turn or facing goal and in space. He's comfortably most dangerous when he's running at players, not off them.

Actually indicative of the fact that, in all honesty, if united put their 10 most effective outfield players out there they should be contemplation an annihilation, never mind a victory.
