The year doesn't end in 1 but if you turn 19 upside down what do you get?

Would rather Spurs win the PL than the other two.

Obviously would prefer United to win it, but atm thats almost as much of a longshot as Spurs winning it.

It was a slightly "tongue in cheek" post but having heard Durham do nothing but slag spurs off for the past 2 years it did make me laugh. I do think United will beat Liverpool on Sunday.... as for for the rest of the way who knows..... but it would be nice if Spurs caught a break this season..... It does feel like its been hard graft with everything going on
----------------------------------------------------------------------
why do you think utd will beat us, the first decent team they played since the imp has been in charge and they lost(PSG)

We beat PSG at home with neymar ect playing

We have a better defense, midfield, and attack so come on enthrall me with your logic

Meaningless statement to say it would be in our hands. Surely it’s also in city and Liverpool’s hands also because they win the title if they win all their games

Adrian Durham actually questioned Spurs right to exist as a football club a few months ago as he will scrape the bottom of any barrel in an attempt to antagonise people into ringing up him and his puppet Gough.

He always sounds so outraged and tormented by all things Tottenham yet to the best of my knowledge he is a Peterborough fan? Any radio station that gives him and Cundy a wage to talk about football needs a drastic overhaul.

Well it isn`t a meaningless statement. If as the OP said Spurs win and Liverpool lose, then it is completely in Spurs hands. Of course the same could be said about Liverpool and City, but we are not talking about them, we are talking about Spurs.

The statement by the OP is 100 per cent correct.

If we had a stronger centre midfield I would feel more confident we had a small chance. We failed to win with a stronger midfield in recent years and have been doing just about enough in recent games.
The loss of Dembele cannot be understated enough and although Winks and Sissoko have done an admirable job,the Dembele and /Wanyama/Dier combo was undeniably the best I have seen at Spurs for a long time.

It is meaningless, because there were times this season when it could be said that the title was in many teams hands

Well it hasn't been in many teams hands, basically only Liverpool and City have had it in their hands for 90 per cent of the season. Spurs have a chance this weekend to put it in their hands.

I suppose it's correct to say that the title is in three team's hands. If Liverpool, City or Spurs were to win all their remaining games the team that did would win the league. Whereas even if Man Utd were to win every game from now until the end of the season they would still be relying on others above them dropping points.

Unfortunately for Spurs, there are too many Michael Oliver`s knocking about in the PL for us to win it
