Less than 4 points from the next 2 will have me shatting it for CL qualification next season

For me Burnley away is one of the most difficult game in the season. Old fashioned English football with direct balls in the box.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We haven't done too badly in the the fixture in recent years, struggled more in the home game vs them. They're on great form and have started the same XI 6 games running, spurs haven't done this 2 games running.
One thing I agree with sandy on is the defence shuffling. Leaving Sanchez out for tactically reasons??like wtf I'm not his biggest fan at the moment but foyth has played less football and less experience in the league.
Let`s cut to the chase, Burnley were not brilliant today. But what the had was a work ethic to chase down balls, and get stuck in. There game plan was to pump high balls into the Spurs penalty area, and it worked a treat. Spurs simply cannot defend high balls.

I see two defeats to both Chelsea and Arsenal. They are both far better teams than Burnley, and will shred our defence as it currently stands. So many of our defenders have gone alarmingly backward, Toby, Rose, etc. coupled with Poch not having a clue what fullbacks to play, and you have a major problem, all of Poch`s making.

Sanchez is Spurs best central defender as it stands, and he should always be starting, and then one of the others to partner him. Why play three central defenders today, none of whom can clear a ball properly? Especially with their heads, all technically good, but sometimes you just need a bit of brute force and wallop the ball up field.

Absolute two defeats coming up. Poch is going to come under some serious pressure then.
Burnley are in fact in significantly better form than boys arsenal and Chelsea. Also we cannot play much worse than that against them. What will be will be. CL qualification is massive and a well prepared preseason for next campaign is so so vital

Poch is the only reason we are third.
Our squad is not title winning quality.
A top CM, right back and left back and I would expect us to challenge. Until then we will always fall short.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This.
Frankly it's disgraceful some of our fans want to single Poch out this season of all seasons.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not singling out at all, he needs to take the rough with the smooth. The first thing any decent coach/manager does is gets his defence playing as a unit, and to play as a unit, you need continuity. Poch rotating the defence every single game gives anything but continuity. He has turned really good defenders like Verts and Toby into very average ones, and that takes a lot of doing.
Not happy with Poch, and why would any of our supporters be, he can never get the team up when it really matters. This happens every time, not like it is a one off.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But you have singled him out because you've made this article about him, and laid blame more at him than anyone, seeing as Trippier wasn't playing.
In his first couple of seasons at the club he sorted the defence out, and helped make it the best defence in the league from one of the worst in the top half. And then we lost Walker who hasn't properly been replaced since, and seeing as we don't want to spend any money, have to make do with what we've got.
You can talk about the regular changes to the defence if you want which we've had all season, but we're still having our best season in the PL so far, yet you're treating the manager like he's clueless.
Makes me wonder why you made us title favourites at the beginning of the season Sandy when you don't seem to rate our manager at all?
I found it strange that Poch would pick Foyth (who struggles physically at times) against the inevitable physical Burnley approach.
But our weaknesses at full back and central midfield were exposed today, we really do miss Dembele.
More down of lack of DMs. No Wanyama or Dembele to dominate opposition midfield

Burnley may be in better form, but both Arsenal and Chelsea are significantly better than Burnley. There is a reason Burnley are near the bottom, because they are not that good. Spurs gifted them the game today, with shocking defending. This could turn into an absolute nightmare week for Poch.

Beat Dortmund midweek 3-0 - "Players did really well"
Lose to Burnley 2-1 - "Poch has a lot to answer for"
We have lost far too many league games this season. What is that seven now already? That’s simply not good enough I don’t think.

Yeah but we haven't drawn any so it doesn't seem as bad as it normally should. Could still reach a title-winning points total, it's just the 2 above us may have really good seasons.
