It’s never a 4-1 performance to be fair.

Doesn't matter does it? No win since new years day for fack sake. Luckily we have Brighton at home next.

He’ll be gone soon enough but do you really trust this club to be able to make a sensible managerial appointment that’s going to move us forward? That hasn’t happened since we fluked the Ranieri appointment

How can palace only have had one shot on target?
We're in a relegation battle now. We probably only need 2 wins but right now it doesn't feel like we're capable of getting another one all season.
I think this is the end of Puel. I'm not even convinced that he'll be in charge for Brighton. Weirdly, I actually think our overall play in the last two games has been a huge improvement but our decision making is appalling.
My worry now is that we will panic into making the wrong managerial appointment with the wrong plan, rip up the genuinely good work Puel has done and we'll end up hurtling towards the Championship.
What a shambles.
One goal was defected one was a penalty?
Give it Stowelleh to the end of the season.

A penalty is still a shot on goal. Even if it's just the second and third goals, that's at least 2 shots on target.
Might also be that the stats hadn't yet been fully updated to FT when you copied them.
Also, Maddison today was truly awful. TBH, and it would have been booed to the rafters, but I would have taken him off and bought Mendy on rather than preserve with him in CM.

I get your logic although would have brought on Mendy for Ghezzal and pushed Maddison further forward.
Why we started Maddison further back in CM I’d probably a more prudent question
The chances were there in previous games vs the top 6 teams. But teams who sit back ie Palace we do not create enough. There's no plan B. Ever.

I don’t think we did. Maddison dropped deep to get the ball because Palace defended so deeply and in so many numbers

There never has been. We were useless against those teams under Shakespeare and useless under Ranieri after the title win: this is a 3 year old problem
It's OK saying that Vardy was left isolated today but what did he actually do to try and make things happen? I'd love to see us creating 5, 6 chances every game for him but when that isn't happening, does he do anything to try and create things for himself? He's living off his past glories I'm afraid and I for one understand why Puel has tried to replace him, albeit with no success.
Who has Puel attempted to sign to replace Vardy? No one from what I can see. Inheancho is he even a footballer? And Gray are never going to be forwards at this level.

He’s not really got the tools to be any other kind of player in fairness. He’s brilliant at what he does, but as he’s getting older he’s becoming less effective at it. Great finisher still but will always need balls over the top or in behind - he won’t be able change now
Puel seems to have broken the Soul of the team, maybe he was trying to break them down to build the back up but it seems he's not capable of it, a right mess it all is now.

But he has tried them both and neither has worked. It proves that Puel has wanted to move away from him, though. We needed to sign a striker in January. Whether the decision not too was a manager or a club decision I don't know, but whoever it was, it was a bad decision.
