Let’s face it, Leicester are also rans in an over hyped league with little or no chance of getting into European competitions. The only thing they have is tv money. 60,000 every home game, silverware, European footaball? No no no

I think you are underestimating the lure of just competing as a manger in the PL - top 6 or not. I agree about the fantastic support at Celtic, winning a league (albeit not a top one but it’s still winning a league) and European football - but I think managers view it slightly differently.

Rodgers is on record as saying that he has had PL offers and has rejected them. He has also said several times that he is in his dream job and that job satisfaction is more important to him. Think that through.
