United were dull and Liverpool dreadful.
How either set of fans can be happy is beyond me, you should all be sad, sad that you served up the nation that turgid match.
Ohhh they will have a different take on events I'm sure.
We were a threat prior to Firmino injury because the wide forwards and midfield use him as the link. Then bizzarly Klopp loses his most hard working player and replaces him with the laziest player in Sturridge and we never looked like scoring.
In the end we did well to get a point.

Say sorry for your team
Everything has been said already
Sad to say but the team looked so nervous. We were slow and just had no direction. Salah and Mane were like deers in headlights. We need a morale boost with a win/draw against Bayern. Considering we have been so poor recently, it's nice to see we still sit on top of the table. Just need to handle that pressure better
Think the injuries killed the game really. Man u at home opted to look for counters and too many pool players were off their game.
They did cut through united a few times but the final ball/shooting was dire. Not sure how the own goal was debatable really. Your offside or your not and he was offside.
I think without the injuries Man U would have pushed forward more 2nd half, as Pool def started to bully things at the end of the 1st half. Man U responded well though and was a vast improvement on the Jose days.
I just feel Man U attacking would have maybe created more spaces behind for Liverpool and made for a far better game.
Firminio showed exactly why he is so important as he is nigh on impossible for Liverpool to replace with just one player. Could be a huge loss unless they totally change the system

We’re sorry you were tied to your sofa, unable to reach the remote, with your eyes taped open for the duration of match.
Then you were forced to sit through the City Chelsea match as well
Seemed to me that both teams were just playing for the draw, neither side really went out and tried to win it, both happy not to lose. Can understand Manu doing that but top of the league Liverpool should have gone full throttle 2nd half.
I’d love to know, in your unbiased opinion, how the offside was debatable?

Well Im happy to answer your question
If you look at the last man's foot, its pretty level. This was pointed out by the Sky pundits.
Personally I think it was 'just' offside, but some could argue it was level... hence it being debatable.
Liverpool dominated play, but were clueless going forward.
United had the better chances.
Liverpool's worst attacking display in possibly years.
Yeah I saw it the same as you apart from the offside being debatable. It was clearly offside. It produced the only good moment of the game for me also. Was at the pub and a few United fans were sitting above me and wouldn't shut up the whole game, bin dippers this, falling apart that etc etc. When they scored they jumped up screaming, the whole pub knew it was offside and just waited for the confirmation, the flag went up, the pub turned to them and let out the biggest cheer, the idiots' faces turned red and we didn't hear another peep from them.
All in all, United had to adjust their tactics due to injuries and went very defensive and Liverpool couldn't find a way through. United's tactics therefore worked as they got the draw. Liverpool's didn't. We just couldn't get through. Perhaps we need to switch back to Salah up front and bring Shaqiri in to combat teams parking the bus as we've drawn three in four against the three teams that set up this way.

I think most Liverpool fans were not happy with how we played yesterday. Your team is average and we should of given you a hiding but we didn't.

No I actually meant the words I typed out not the ones you attributed to me.
The offside goal was not debatable at all. We have had and are having our own injury crisis to contend with. Our first choice RB was clearly not fully fit otherwise he would have played. Our first choice centre back is out. Our main goal scoring midfielder Ox has been out for a while and Firminho, who was playing the best out of our front 3, went off injured. We didn't have several £100m reserves on the bench unlike United. That said, I've never witnessed United playing Liverpool at Old Trafford with 11 men behind the ball (12 if you class Oliver) and the home fans desperate for a point. Never known a United team to celebrate a single solitary point at home against Liverpool. Anyone would think you were down to 8 men and that Liverpool didn't have any injuries

Luckily i watched freeflowing Rangers dismantle Hamilton 5-0 before switching on to snoozefest sunday on Sky.
For the OP.
You are absoltuely right.
Watching what OGS has done is he's gone for a style and picked certin players that suited it and some that were needed like matic.
Once martial and lingard were out utd were never going to be as effective but having a half fit striker, lukaku at RW and two kids at CM mean utd were done for.
young looked a deer in headlights btw he was scared stiff of leaving his half.
What happened to LFC is they didn't follow the plan, they played safe, the mdifeld didnt want the ball and ended up back with CBs who eventually had to go long.
LFC were so scared of losing they forgot about winning. that game was there for taking.
The manc crowd were cheering and singing watching their side park 11 men back IMO cos they were so bloody relieved
The offside goal was offside.....just.
Shame the linesman at Westham couldn't spot Milner being 2 feet offside the other week right Infront of him.
When your luck is in, it's in. Liverpool even benefited from an outrageous injury curse yesterday but didn't take full advantage as they should have done. If their is a football god.....he definitely wants the dippers to win it this year. That's how it goes sometimes.

Come on mate, it happens nearly every time an offside goal is scored. Opposition fans cheer then its followed by the "ahhhhhhhh" from the other side.
Must be an amazing pub where "the whole pub" other than the United fans all saw it was offside even though you didn't have a side on view lol.
Admit you got the split second of fear like we all do, then wwnt "ahhhhhh" in relief. We've all done it. Nothing to be ashamed of.
It actually felt like both sides were too scared to lose at first. Liverpool looked a bit more composed but offered no threat whatsoever.
I honestly thought we would come out after HT, everyone fully aware of the situation, all guns blazing and finish the job - If anything United looked more likely to score with some dangerous set pieces.
Think we played the occasion rather than the game, United did the opposite which surprised me tbh but they were much smarter in their approach. I woke up on Sunday expecting a loss but ended the day being gutted with a draw. Funny old game.
