His ducking of anything physical is annoying me to fack. Absolute pu55y.

Yep agree. It seems to have got worse the last 5 or 6 games?

He also keeps losing the ball

Yeah utter garbage besides scoring goals in European cup finals. And yes I know you'll try compare to Bale but Madrid fans like macca

Definitely worse in that period. He was never physical but he would always harrass and try nick the ball. Now though, he's going through the motions. But we have no other option. He's clearly going, but give it your all while you're on the pitch.

I would imagine his form will effect his value as well. I mean how much would you pay for the lazy facker at the moment?

Really not fussed if he leaves, watching him avoid challenges is embarrassing, he should watch how much effort Lamela puts in trying to obliterate anyone in front of him and Lamela has a dodgy injury record but that doesn’t stop him.

We won't miss his set pieces.

probably go somewhere else and whip them in brilliantly. I dont blame him entirely for our corners tbh.

Always makes me laugh when commentators say how dangerous he is when standing over one.

Not sure about that. His set pieces have been crap for years now.

Of our squad, who, if anyone, do you think is rattling him about pulling out of these challenges?

Dier maybe. Jan?

yeah certainly lost it but for corners he tries to be too cute with them trying to get the man running in at the front post. It is training ground stuff, im not sure we work much on these things, especially when you consider how we defend from them

He makes corner delivery look like the hardest skill in the world. I'm sure it is difficult but I've never seen someone fail so regularly to get it above the first man.

my thinking is he does it on purpose.

I do agree that it isn't all his fault. Looks like we just make up our corners as we go along and no practice goes into them on the training ground.

Then he must be pretty dumb cause I can't remember when it last worked. Or the short corner.

This. If he does half as well at Madrid as Macca did, he'll be a very happy man. He played in 11 cup finals in four years.

Before Lamelas long injury lay off he was getting far more game time than now (obviously) and was putting Eriksen to shame with his free kick delivery. Anytime he is on the pitch Eriksen should be taken off all dead ball situations.

Mcmanaman was quality at Madrid!!

posted on 6/3/19

Yes if Lamela or Trippier are on the pitch then they should be taking the corners.

And Trippier has score from a free kick more recently. So has Kane and he's atrocious at them.

Not quite sure what Eriksen does on a training ground these days.

Probs goes through the motions, does just enough to not get in to trouble and says the right stuff. Bit like me at work.

Do you think your "special relationship" with Real Madrid is helping?
