They must have been delighted to get a free coach ride up to Leeds on a Friday night to watch their team get tonked 4-0

And immensely disappointed to then discover that there wasn't a similar ride back.

Interesting though, had we not achieved promotion last season, this season would have been make or break in FFP terms. Had we not gone up after 18/19, I would assume 19/20 would have been a case of get on with what you have and/or selling in order to buy.
The investment has paid off though it seems and our turnover for this season will dwarf anything we've had before.
Interesting article Oldgold. 2 things jumped out in particular:
The huge increase in TV income, up fro £8m to over £128.
The dire straights Villa seem to be in.
that's £128 million of course,
£128 is what the baggies get
