One match ban enabled

Regarding Robinson, thought it was only a two match ban when you reached ten yellow cards? Does he get an extra match for being a Scouser?

Bonatini has been talking the talk this week about how he wants this to be the start of something special basically. There is a deal in place to make his loan permanent should MoN be tempted. He needs to bang a few goals in now if he is going to stand a chance.

Good point about number of loans in the match day squad. The likes of Pele and Wague aren’t really getting much of a look in so far.

I believe it is time for Appiah to appear personally. Let’s see what he has to offer. Can he provide the bit of magic the team is currently lacking to cut teams apart?

Think the Reds have become a little two reliant on Lolley recently. He is a marked man. Got to add a bit of threat from elsewhere or Forest are going to become to easy to shut down. Not looking full of goals at the moment it has to be said.

It's been a truly terrible season for injuries, who would have thought at the start of the season that we would have lost every centre half in the squad?

Has Lolley lost form/ had a niggling injury or has Aston Villa's blatant attempt to unsettle him worked?

I hope we don't start the game with Murphy up front, because Hull will be expecting that.

A really big eight days coming up at the end of which the play off picture will be a lot clearer.

By my reckoning we have used seven different players at CB. Our only CB who has been available throughout the season has been Joe Worrall!

Lolley's form may have dipped and he may have paid a bit too much attention to the Villa bid but the most significant factor has been the added attention he receives from opponents, especially when Grabban is not playing. Without Grabbs Lolley is our only goal threat.

I think we need seven points from the next three games to retain an interest in the play-offs.

I think MON will be hoping Grabbs and Cash will be ready for the Villa game and won't risk them today. Watson and Murphy can't play three in eight so could be rested today.

Will MON try to surprise Hull by changing formation today. I think Janko will be LB, Osborn needed for wide left midfield and to double up on Bowen (or Grosicki).

Today is a tough one. May have to settle for a draw.

Match day. Lashing it down and blowing a gale in Notts this morning. 😬

Perhaps a chance for Yacob? The two Stoke goals last week came right through the middle of the park. I would’ve backed him to make it there and put a challenge in for both. In hindsight, I bet MoN wishes he had given one of the three in there a break after their Herculean efforts against Derby.

Think Cash has had a bit of a set back this week. He is also having issues with his achilles. Don’t expect to see him today.

Yeah, to not be able to recall Worrall was a blow. Doubly so as he is playing for that horrid team from Glasgow.

It will be interesting to see if Murphy gets the nod again. Bonatini and Ansarifard are the two who can give MoN a decision to make. I suspect Bonatini is probably more suited to a one up front formation. Depends who has impressed in training.

Hull will be used to this weather won't they. I've not been to Hull often but when I have they seem to get this blowing in off the North Sea all the time.

Looking forward to seeing Eric today. Hope he has an off day though.

I think Murphy will start today but only get an hour. We might need him on Wednesday if Grabban doesn't make it.

‘ull will be very confident for this one, as I believe they have won at the CG n their last 5 visits. Honestly if we play well I think we can win this one, probably by a 2 gal margin, 3-1 is my prediction. N the flip side they are not to be under estimated, though MON certainly won’t make that mistake. 7 points from the next 3 games is achievable, but 3 today is essential. I don’t think we are good/consistent enough to make the play off’s but stranger things have happened.

The owner will be at the match today. The first time he has attended a match at the FCG apparently.

Let's make him feel welcome.

Glorious sunshine here in Vitoria today. Forecast 20C. Bleddy wierd weather we're having, but hey ho!
A busy day today for me.
I've got a ticket for the Basque derby at 13:00 (Alavés vs Eibar). A dash home for the Forest match on iFollow at 16:00 CET, and then off to watch the Valladolid v Barça game at 18:30 in the bar downstairs.
I guess I'm going to be footballed out (and pi$$Ed!) by 9:00!

AAARRRGGHH!
Of course I meant Barça V Rayo Valecano!
Doh!!!

Must be tough for you, El Bosque.

Surely THE Basque derby would feature Athletic Bilbao wouldn't it?

We have four teams in the Basque country, Alavés, Eibar, Athletic and Real Sociedad, so we each have six Basque derbies each season.
Eibar is only 20kms from here so they are more local...
