So you'd be OK with another 3 - 4 years of no trophies and 3 / 4 place finishes?

I don't believe that winning trophies and giving Rashford a chance are mutually exclusive.

Kane wasn't and isn't the reason Spurs aren't winning trophies.

Having a top CF alongside him wouldn't have hurt their chances

We spent 75 million and still cannot assure anything. We need a system with players that suit it. Not the other way around. Buying Kane and or Neymar would not solve our issues if they do not fit.

Probably would have hurt Kane's chances, though.

I often wonder where he'd be if Soldado had been a success.

Thought you were stretty but it is clear you are another RDD account.

Lukaku cost us that game yesterday, the first chance he missed that hit the bar would have changed the game dramatically.

End of the day he has scored 1 goal against the big 6 and that record is abysmal.

If Martial had those chances yesterday, he would have buried them.

He is not good enough to lead the line for us.

Nope. I'm not Stretty, Whal or rrd.

And i agree, Lukaku isn't good enough to be our main source of goals if we are to play Martial and Rashford as well.

I think Lukaku's getting unfair stick for yesterday. Yes, he had a couple of golden opportunities, but you need to get into the right positions to begin with and every striker misses those from time to time. He's been on great form recently, so I think he deserves people to cut him some slack for yesterday's misses.

Whether or not he's good enough long term is a different issue, but where does he go if United want to ship him? What club is going to equal his wages, and what kind of hit would United have to take on the transfer if they do need to facilitate his move?

Well, you are RDD. The only person who does not accept that is you.

You had the exact word for word argument with Winston the other day about players fees not being relative to how good they shoud be as I had with RDD.

Word for word. You just can't help yourself.

We don't know that for sure and I don't actually agree, I think he wouldn't be the striker he is today.

OP
You would get more than one star if you began by stating your position and then asking for others.
What you do is ask first and then create arguments.
Yes you are RDD, we've had all this so often now that it's boring. We know you are, you know you are. Just come clean and then try to keep an account for longer than a month.

I'm not here for stars. I'm here for debate / conversation. If given my opinion but I was more interested in that of others. And I haven't argued with anyone.

Iv told you I am not some returning poster that has apparently burned you and I'm bored of it now.

It maybe a controversial opinion but I think a lot of English talent is wasted and had Kane been a squad player or out on loan for too long then he may never have realised his potential.

If he went to a lower level club then the quality of coaching, fitness, set up etc. could lead to him basically becoming a lower level player.

It is quite funny how RDD actually thinks he 'burns' people on here.

What a tedious little oik.

Hed have got game time at Spurs still, just wouldn't have been 90 mins every game.

He'd have been very much a back up striker and I think you'd not have seen the same development in that scenario.

I disagree. Spurs through and through so wouldn't have kicked up a fuss and would have got plenty of game time still.

Didn't he spend a lot of time out on loan before breaking into the spurs team ?

Its a fair conclusion. Why else would people KEEP referring to him unless he has somehow got under their skin?

Life is too short. My advice is move on.

posted on 11/3/19

Do you think getting under people's skin is a good way to behave?
