As long as they do not get anymore decisions cough cough

We will let City win as the league no longer matters for us as we get CL qualification from winning the CL. At the expense of 4th place in the league which will be hilaaaaarious.

as I said in OP then if they do they would be worthy champions , I simply cant see that happening , last time they had a run like that (xmas ) they dropped points and some of those mid April games are tough

Can't see past Spurs for the title tbh.

Got two teams of 11 that would win/finish top 3 in the league. Don’t think fixture congestion is a massive issue for them.

Top of the league despite missing Kdb,Mendy, Fernandinho and others over the season

yes but last time they had players out and a lot of fixtures they dropped points , don't see why it will be different this time and matches are tougher and honestly they aren't playing that well at the moment, fair enough they are winning but they look tired to me. recognise that all sounds glass half full ,but thats how I see it

To be fair Porto are better than Liverpool so City would probably rather get Liverpool.

The good thing is that if we win our next few games, the pressure will be on them for a while as they play after us. I think it's the last two games of the season when we actually go back level, in terms of games played. I don't think we'll have to win every game, City are not playing anywhere near as well as they were last season and the start of this season. To be expected when arguably their best player has been unavailable or not fit, for most of the season.

If we win every game, we'll win the league. Unfortunately, that is exactly what we'll have to do and it just won't happen.

We just had to be within touching distance of them come the run in and we are. They have a ridiculous run of game to contend with and now looks like united will really need a result v them for a top 4 spot as will spurs.

That impacts us too of course spurs and Chelsea will both come looking for a result in Anfield.

City are a great side but so are we. We've proved over the course of the league this season that we are a top side. One loss and the only draws you can question, results wise, are west ham and Leicester, all the other draws are respectable points to get even if the context we got them in were, in some cases, frustrating.

We're well in this title race, have the best defence in the league and only behind city in goals scored, our manager has experience of a title run in too which bodes well.

So gwan the reds

Agree with OP. Momentum and pressure are funny things and can affect everyone regardless of experience.

Beat Fulham and they'll be going into the international break knowing we're top but they can't do anything about it for 2 weeks. That could be a small psychological boost to our lads and a blow to theirs.

If we can stay within 1 point of them going into the run of games you've mentioned, then I'd have us down as slight favourites.

Whoever wins this league will fully deserve it.

We've had far more rest than them and will continue to and looking at those fixtures for City you'd have to think that would have an effect.

I still think City will win it but we've given ourselves an amazing chance.

I think they will drop points, I think we will also... just depends on the details of who drops what and when!

Im not sure what people want?! 9 games to go and a point off the top!? Im all set for the run in with all its twists and turns but we are in with a shout here so lets see how it goes!

If we can replicate our home performances in away games then I don't think anyone can complain much, regardless of whether we win or lose in the end.
