Not really, just pointing out that not a single one of these world beaters has achieved that, not one, odd that isn't it, or are there equally as good if not better players at other clubs in other leagues

Great point, we seem to always have to claim someone is the best, but reality is generally a player is in a group of peers, and VVD is in a group of players who would be considered world class in their position.
Hell even Messi and Ronaldo were their own group.
Premier League Player of the Year has nothing to do with the Champions League.
Bale won poty twice, and rightly so, and won nothing with Spurs but was the best player in the Premier League. He's gone on to win 4 CL's.
