This isn't a serious question surely???

Ajax going to the reigning triple champions and scoring 4 wins hands down

posted on 13/3/19

Yea, answer is fairly obviously Ajax. Don't know why people are voting for other things.

I went 4 stars mainly because the injuries utd had plus the way they beat them.

posted on 13/3/19

Yeah I think Ajax is the only shock result there

posted on 13/3/19

Liverpool great result albeit not at their best.
Juventus great comeback
Ajax stunned the competition albeit a struggling Real
Man Utd pull off the unlikeliest of results
Porto meh

I’d say United was best result personally although it wasn’t the best performance.

This

Don't get me wrong, it was a last 16 of shocks, surprises and great character, but Ajax has to be the pick of the bunch, ending a 3 year CL winning streak away from home in spectacular fashion with a youthful side.

For me it's either 3 or 4 because they were so unexpected. I'd go with Ajax though because it was against serial winners and because it was such a good performance. United dug in well but it was more a gritty performance more than anything (as delighted as I was).

The other 3 results weren't that surprising IMO.

It's not even a question. United are the biggest club in the world and on a great run of form, hardly a massive shock against perennial underachievers PSG.

That one aside, I'd say Juvenaldo.

United or Ajax for result, but like you say, definitely not for performance, for United anyway

It would have to be us purely because of the amount of players we didn't have available. Other than that it would be Ajax easily.

Beating Bayern 3-1 in their own back yard, even if they aren't quite what they were, is still an incredible result too.

Its feckin Ajax, end of story ffs

PSG are serial bottlers and Man Utd one of the biggest clubs around. Not a massive shock.

Ajax going to the mighty Real 2-1 down and not just beating them but humiliating them.

Is it even a debate?

Ajax clearly.

Ajax easily. They battered reigning champs Real Madrid in the Bernabeu.

Juve's was a good comeback, but they've got Ronaldo. It says a lot about him as a player but you've come to expect that from him so nothing he does is surprising any more.

Man United got lucky.

Uniteds squad cost 8 billion so shouldnt be a surprise result

posted on 13/3/19

Ajax
United
Juventus
Liverpool
Porto

I think that's probably the right order. Would like to put Liverpool's higher coz it's a great result, but difficult to

Would have Juve above Liverpool. Expected Liverpool to qualify tonight. Thought Atletico would be more resilient.

That was Sanchez's wage by week wasn't it?

Ajax wasn’t a massive shock if you watched the first leg. Probably should have won that 4-1 as well.

I don't know how anyone can think you guys on a fantastic run going to and beating serial bottlers PSG is any kind of shock, i think the only shock is it took you til the 93rd minute to get it done.
