This will be ranty as I’m still raging from Tuesday night so personally I’m of the opinion that Gerrard should go, another season ending before March is enough for me, however I know I’m in the minority when it comes to that and under no circumstances can I see King sacking him/Gerrard walking in the foreseeable, so I accept we'll be stuck with him next year.
Squad wise, I’d get rid of Alnwick and Firth. Ideally McCrorie would get a loan to a top tier side.
Left back, well Wallace will be away, Barasic hasn’t proven to be a reliable option (although he does have talent, he just seems unable to show it consistently) whilst Halliday is a utility man who is just that. Either we need Barasic to perform consistently or we need to look into someone for that position imo. (Shinnie?)
Centre backs, we’ll require 2 of. McAuley is most likely retiring and Worrall will be back giving fans at Forest the fear. A choice of 4 is a must in my opinion, so that’s a position we need 2 in.
Right back, I wouldn’t be adverse to letting Tavernier going to be honest. If he stays then he needs stripped of the captaincy. Polster is a pointless signing, the only upside to him is the fact his missus is a wee darling. Flanagan well hopefully he fooks off but I can see him staying.
Midfield, outwith McCrorie and Kamara (willing to give him benefit of the doubt) there’s no-one in that list that I wouldn’t be sad to see leave. Personally don’t think Arfield has offered enough to justify his wages, one game against Celtic aside. Docherty I can see being in and around the squad though, and he has performed well out on loan. Coulibaly and Davis’ loans will be terminated with any luck. Hopefully bring in someone who can actually pass the ball forward and provide a bit of creative spark.
I’d keep Kent on loan for another year to see if his consistency can improve, but I wouldn’t spend the money that Liverpool would ask to keep him permanently just yet. Middleton needs a loan. Grezda I’d sell, don’t think he’s up to this league, Murphy we need to wait and see what he’s like after his injury before we make a decision Candeias, we need an upgrade on. Not to mention we’re adding Jones (hopefully we can revoke that agreement though!). Don’t think signing someone like Hastie is the answer either, we need someone ready to play and perform consistently.
Up front, I see an issue in that I think that Morelos will be sold and we’ll be stuck with two players in Defoe and Lafferty that don’t really fit into the current system, although Defoe has scored a few goals at least. Who we get to replace Morelos though I’ve no idea.

Maybe but I don't see it tbh, RB absolutely, but have to disagree with Sherbet that to me is a pretty healthy squad with a lot of options.
If we get a new man which I hope we do, then maybe a couple more will come in. I would be sounding out PSG to get another year out of Weah.
Maybe one extra number 10 type as Rogic is injury prone but I don't see us being anywhere near as busy as Rangers will be they need 4/5/6 players at least and the same minimum going the other way.

Aye Seen that the winger that played against us for Osijek (Bockaj) is a free agent now after driving a motor into a petrol station
Hardest part is actually moving players on rather than getting new ones in which is difficult enough. Celtic 'lucky's enough that so many out of contract and I will only be happy to keep 2 or 3 of them at most. Rangers surely have to sell to get funds.....otherwise there is no real strategy in place as a business....and it has to be Morelos as he only one for big money needed to rebuild. He will be a huge loss. We need 4 in (mostly defence)and Rangers half a dozen....another Iinteresting window
As sherbet said though it’s pretty certain Ntcham doesn’t want to be here - not sure we’d get 14 million as per media reports with Porto but should still get a good wedge.

It’s what we were offered for him last year apparently.
Using bear logic, he signed a new deal last season, so he’s probably worth more now...
Looks like we are going to need another load of signings for next season once again.
In order for us to compete we need at least 4 signing that are ready to come straight into the starting 11.
CB, RW, CM & number 10.
If Alfie goes then we obviously need another striker.

If that's true and the boyata story is true, looks like BR knocked back £23m for that pair. Unbelievable.
Kaiser agreed, those are the key positions we need to strengthen.
I would actually quite like to sell Morelos this summer and move to 4-4-2.
As for 14m for Ntcham apparently seems to be the key there. Maybe it did happen but i trust that less than a bid from China for Morelos.
