If you want to support Manchester United you commit yourself and you travel to Manchester and you watch a game. Proper fans attend games pay money to see their team play.

Tbf, I'd imagine all PL teams have more TV fans than what attend games these days. Just the way things are. Harsh to say it's a plague. Spurs probably have a brand spanking new stadium thanks largely to TV fans unable or unwilling to go to games.
