This is true.

I the case of Cann, it wasn't about money but game time and medals, part of that has worked out

If Emre Van was half as good as he thinks he is he'd be in the top three midfielders in the world.

Also Emre Can

Can was incredible against Atletico the other day if that helps. Always rated the guy. Would you say your midfield misses him?

Since Liverpool last won a trophy, the following players have left and won trophies (therefore being more successful than any player that stayed):

Pepe Reina
Brad Jones
Sebastian Coates
Andre Wisdom
Phillipe Coutinho
Lucas Leiva
Suso
Raheem Sterling
Jonjo Shelvey
Conor Cody
Luis Suarez
Nuri Sahin
Kolo Toure

Hes quite similar to what we already have. Only thing he probably has that some lack is slightly more goals.

The big disappointment comes with Kieta but hes young and I reckon next season we will see more of him.

he'd be starting most games if he was still here, he was clearly one of klopps favourite players, he just wanted to move to juve, we offered him contracts but he wanted the move, cant blame him really juve are a massive club aswell

We haven't missed him at all. He never really had a position in midfield but he felt he was best in the deepest role, where we now have Fabinho. I'm not sure we would have signed Fabinho if we'd kept Can but if so, Can would have started most games on the bench.

He's barely been mentioned by Liverpool fans since he left. Don't think we miss him at all really.

He was pretty indifferent towards the club so in turn it was easy to forget him.

Always rated Can. He gave us something different in midfield. Really strong player. He dominated City's midfield when we played them and not many players do that. He wasn't always consistent.

I was not angry that he wanted to leave. He did the same when he was in Germany and said at the time that he wanted to live in many countries and try different leagues and I would of been the same if I was a player. I wouldn't want to live in the same place all my career. Im 41 this year and I have moved house 24 times. I have experienced life and Can has done the same so fair play to him

Can was great as a sort of, utility player, but Gini does box to box better, Fabinho does defensive midfield better, and Hendo plays better in big games. Don't think we do miss him this season, I say that without bitterness.

I suspect if Can were still here then we'd be talking about his potential because the tools are all there to be a dominant CM player. But he's 25 now and he should be delivering more regularly than he was for us and, on the basis of his starts, he is for Juve.

Personally I'm very happy with Fabinho as Can's replacement and I doubt any Liverpool supporter would swap them back.
