I think it's due to the fact that the last few times we've played them we haven't gotten near them, Sandy.
We need to come up with something completely new.

I think spurs have a great chance TBF over 2 legs

Oh my God Sandy, are you for real mate? You've literally been saying for the last fortnight how Spurs have no chance of winning trophies under the current management.

there is a silver lining, when we go out to city we can then concentrate getting a CL place

It is the worst draw for Spurs but it's only City.
The crowd can push you on, what to they have to fall back on when it's not working their crowd do nutin.

City bossed the game last season. Should have won by more really.
This season was a bit more even although City edged it on a pudding of a pitch, which ultimately was City's saviour.

I have excluded the manager completely from my calculations, and am relying on the team. Oh and beating City in the QFinals would not equate to winning a trophy.

Agreed, Spurs were not at full strength, but City hardly overran Spurs, the game was very even. Could have gone either way.

Well City are the bookies favourites and probably the best team left. So if by your recognition we have a 50/50 chance against them, we have a 50/50 chance or better against anyone else, which means we can win the CL and therefore win a trophy under the current management, unless I'm missing something?

When Spurs lose, that is usually down to the manager not having a clue how to pick his best team. Usually when Spurs win, the manager has zero input.

As I said mate, I have excluded the manager from any calculations for the rest of the season. If the team on the pitch is full strength, then Spurs have a chance. If the tinkerman thinks resting players at this time of the season is good management, then Spurs will have no chance. I live in hope that the best team is on the pitch.
