Was Brown injured or has he been sent back?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Reported as ' ill '.

Shown some brilliant touches in U-23s games recently, but this wasn't the game to throw him in.

My mate on his way back to the airport as we speak, not sure he's gonna buy the first birthday drink for me happily now.

International break comes at a good time for all of us for the run in, chat after the break but then it's business

Dream on!

Well, was not the game to put Dallas into eighter but still Bielsa did it anyway

Dallas sub made sense to me. Leeds got a lot of joy down the right wing all game and gave some more energy because Ayling had dropped off a bit.

It would have made sense if he had put Shackleton on instead of Dallas

Norwich has as good as won the league

See Norwich not.messing around. We deffo have an attitude problem in some of these games. Really.gooe that's the last time this season we drop points.

What good is having 70% possession if you don't have a clue what to do with it in the last third, if you can't deliver a good final ball in to save your life, and if you haven't got someone who can turn chances into goals. Until they scored we looked in control but never looked like scoring. 0-0 was always on the cards but Cooper's faux par put paid to that.

In the big games, and I mean THE big occasions, we almost always let ourselves down. This was a six pointer and going into the international break, it will play on the minds of the team and we'll be lucky to regain the momentum we had.

Lorraine that's what I said. In the 2 biggest games this season, we were found wanting and showed thats we do not have the ability to stand up and be counted at the very top.

We gave birth Norwich and the Blandes 6 points at times when we could have extended our lead or pulled away.

Yeah I mean of the top 7 we've only beaten all of them at least once this season (except Middlesbrough with whom we drew with twice).

Big games and we just collapse, right.

Can’t understand why the Shack didn’t come on. Thank folk there is a break for Pontus

Dallas has been very good for us coming on since his injury.

Douglas is the sub I didn’t understand.

Clarke for Harrison. Dallas for Ayling. Shack for Roberts/Klich would be what I would have wanted.

Leeds have been excellent against the top sides in the division. To say we bottle it in big games I stupid

So the West Brom game everyone w*nked over the other week wasn’t a big game?

We showed up today... didn’t take our chances and got punished for a couple of stupid mistakes... It’s happened too often this season but I’m not buying that we’re chokers

posted on 16/3/19

Bottled it against West Brom? Derby? Villa away? Sheff U away? All big games. What a load of bollox!

On another day we could have won 3:1 today. Roberts smashed the post and other good chances missed. Some days they go in, some days they don't. We played well but luck was against us and we made a couple of costly mistakes. I don't get the negative waves. We're one point behind with 24 stll up for grabs.

posted on 16/3/19

Got to bear in mind how good Sheff U were in their defending - I don't think I've seen a better defensive display for a long while. Even then we had chances.

Not the end of the story by far...

posted on 16/3/19

Don’t think Sheffield even defended that well.

We constantly opened them up.

And constantly picked the wrong final ball

To me their goal was made easier to score by Douglas not tracking back and staying goal side of Basham. Once he got the pass from Sharp he had an easy tap-in.

This.

Even with us on an off-day, how they've managed 7 clean sheets in a row is baffling.

This season we've been massively better than previous in that, yes, we've beaten all our rivals, just not when the chips are down. But second place is still there to be taken.

WBA was a 6 pointer. Lose that and they'd be one point behind. Win it and we'd be 7 points clear. Massive game against a top away side and we smashed it.

Feels pretty surreal to be talking football after what's happened in Christchurch. We have always thought we were safe from racial hatred, because we are so far away from the rest of the planet. Not any more. We are now a paid up member of the hate crime community.
F Ll C K T H E M.
Ordinary people were attending prayer on a Friday afternoon, defenceless and humble, they had their lives taken from them by a despicable animal. Decent people, men, women, children, no-one was spared. Our Prime Minister called it when she said that everyone in New Zealand is affected by this. This is a country where communities, especially in Christchurch, which was so badly damaged by the earthquake in 2011, are tight knit. We will come together to support them, and pray for the victims and their families, and grieve with them.
It happens everywhere and we were naive enough to think that it would never happen here. No-one knows what tomorrow is going to be like in NZ, but at 1.30 a.m., I am going to enjoy this game and the rest of this season, whatever the outcome.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Never realised you are in NZ. I'm sure it does feel surreal.

Hope the game is a good distraction for a couple of hours.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Totally right. Compared to some of the horrors that real life can bring, football is nothing more than a pleasant distraction. Our thoughts are with all those who were affected by the mindless violence perpetrated on the innocent people of Christchurch.
